Welcome to Fixya. The error message that you have on your computer indicated that it is not detecting the operating system. You can check the BIOS settings and see if the First Boot Priority is the Hard Drive. If the hard drive is in first boot priority then still have the same error it means that the operating system is corrupted and you need to reinstall it.
