If it works faster with Plug in power it can be cause of improper battery power. otherwise, it can be cause of Hard Disk. you can regenerate your hard disk your self. You can check my earlier solutions to find this.

Try Checking the Handsets Memory, if you have too much stored on the memory, eg: Ringtones, Txt's this can slow down the phone. Try deleting some things, or moving them onto a removable memory device.

Yes. After unlock it, you can use it with any carrier that has SIM card.
Yes, I used my unlocked Tmobile wing oversea as well. (In Asia, cuz they use sim card as well, not sure about other area.)

If you still have tmobile as a carrier, call them and tell them you are going to India or somewhere where there Tmobile doesn't have a big presence. Tmobile will unlock your device for free. As long as you have been a customer for 30 days or so.

I have had the same issue twice now, both times I was able to buy replacement buttons on e bay for about 10 dollars, however there is no instructions, and I think it was my fault it broke the second time because they are so delicate and difficult to replace without breaking a clip. However they are cheap and easy to find on e bay if you wanna chance the repair yourself!!
