SOURCE: i turn on the 4805,green led blinks & bulb does not come on?

After a few minuets does the green blinking light turn to a red blinking light?

If so the problem is the lamp did not strike.Either the lamp has failed (most likely) or there is a problem with the power supply (less likely)

SOURCE: I have a Optoma HD70

Is it possible that you moved the projector and remounted it somewhere,Did you move it gently? Are you sure you allowed the projector to cool for at least an hour before moving it? the filaments in those lamps get EXTREMLY hot and can very easy be damaged if moved while hot. eitherway then you may have just damaged your lamp in some way. do you have a spare to popin and give the projector a test?

Try to unplug your projector, plug it back in, wait 20 seconds and try to turn on, multiple times, it will finally kick on and work.

If after a lot of sequences,it still doesnt work then you should probably get a new lamp.

SOURCE: my vivitek d510 projector lamp is not turn on.

You need to check the power supply feed to the lamp circuit and if this is workingg fine check if there is lamp reset- hours used. Also if the filter is blocked remove and clean, check the fan and also the connections/connectors in the mother board.
If not there can be errors in the motherboard.

  • Reset component settings. Usually, the problems you encounter with a projection TV may be resolved through the resetting to its factory settings. If you experience inaccuracies in the color, reset the television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor capabilities. Simply press the Menu tab and then highlight "Perfect Color" using your right key arrow. After this, press "Enter" and then "Reset" in order to reset to factory settings. If you have audio / video problems (VCR or DVD player), simply press "Menu" and highlight the "Reset" option.
Reset television controls. In case you cannot fix your TV via its component settings, there are other ways of resetting. Just select "Menu", key in "1, 2, 3", and then press "Enter." In doing this, the TV's manufacturer's specifications will all be restored. If your TV's power system does not function, you should perform a complete system reset. You can do this by clicking on Reset System button located at the TV's control panel. Your television will be turned off and then a green light (LED) will quickly flash for approximately one minute. Once the light has stopped flashing, your TV should immediately turn on.

When I plug in the tv the power led flashes red 9 times. It continues to do this over and over. When I press the power on button the led flashes green a few times and you can hear the fans kick on and it...

This is a model I have seen only two times and each also had the nine blinks, both got exchanged under warranty.

For the KDS-50A2000, nine blinks means "Device error" and the probably cause locations listed are as follows;

1. Temperature sensors, Bus decoder ICs (IC1700, 1800, 1900, 5066, 2305)
2. IC6402
You would need to download a Service manual and I think you are going to find some of these are only possible causes, there are quite a number of areas up to and including an optical light engine that could cause this error code.

Different areas of the set communicate with each other and this kind of error can be misleading in that it is the result and not the true problem.

A start would be to get the manual (Google model number with service manual after ) and take a look at the suggested areas. The manual will also contain a list of the error codes for this set.

Let me know what you find or if you have questions as I am here to help.

Hi, i have recently replaced my projector lamp, as it would not power up when switched on the main led on the power button just flashed, after replacing the bulb the light continued too flash, i took all...

It could be the lamp life needs resetting or the filter life needs resetting. Hopefully so, otherwise it could be a faulty lamp module.

Good luck

Power light flashes 5 times and then ready flashes 3 times

Unfortunately that is 2 different errors... One being easily fixed. The 5 blinking power LED means its time to replace the Lamp, thats the easiest one to fix.

The blinking ready light means a "Fan 3 error". There is no reference on what that could be. It could be as simple as cleaning the air filter, or as complicated as replacing one of the fan units. You will need to contact Vivitek to know for sure:

Attached you will find a chart for diagnosing the Power and Blinking Ready Lights:

Diagnostic Indicator

Beep codes and power LED status are pre-post errors. Usually beep codes indicate a problem with a memory module. Power LED is solid green for normal operation. Solid or blinking Amber color power LED indicates a power distribution problem.

Power Button Blinking Red

The number of blinks, called error codes, is crucial in determining what's wrong with your unit.. In this case the color wheel is faulty and needs to be replaced. In that unit the color wheel assembly is Panasonic p/n# TXFEN01RP4S and is available from many sources for about $390.00 plus shipping.
There are some companies like Tri-State-Module that have taken-up rebuilding color wheel assemblies but I can't be certain that this is one of the brand/models they support. If you can have it rebuilt you might save about half the price of a new one...
For your edification in the future here are the blink codes for your Tv:
1 | Load Shortage
2 | Over Volage
3 | Fan Sos
4 | Main 3.3v
5 | Lamp Disable
6 | Gc3fm-Iic
7 | Gc3fs-Iic
8 | Gc3i-Iic
9 | Color Wheel Stop

If I can help any other way just let me know...
Good Luck!
