I have an HP 8500 Wireless, I put in uverse about 3 months ago and since then the fax will send maybe one or 2 pages and then send out an error message, 350,351,349. I have called the installer of the uverse
from what I have read it might be in the lines, I am also trying to fax this to my email which is also an efax that goes into my email at the same location.

If they installed a Modem/Access point that the computer talks to via wireless than this has become the new "hub"You may need to tell the printer the new settings so it knows to go through this "hub"
1. Press Setup
2. Scroll Down to network, press OK
3 Scroll to wireless network setup (could also be named Automatic Wireless Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard). Press OK
4. Highlight the Wireless Modems name, it will ask you for a password that the TWC man advised you, or you have set up.
5. It should connect to this and hopefully resolve your printing issue.
I hope this helps, if so please rate this response below

the Officejet Pro 8500 Series can still do a fax confirmation page, you
just have to set it up. Press the Setup button (looks like wrench),
then 2. Print Report, then 1. Fax Confirmation. From there you can
select to print it out on Send, Recieve, or Both.
Hi This is a coomon problem with the printer the best thing to do is call HP and advise them of the issue. I recently had a customer who did this and even know it was out of warranty they replaced the printer.
Send a one page black and white text fax to 1-888-hpfaxme (1-888-473-2963).
When
your fax is received by the HP Test Fax Service, It will generate a
return fax to you within five minutes confirming that we received your
fax. This verifies that you can both send and receive a fax with your
fax machine.
