Just received the new 10d tablet that I purchased from you. Tablet won't charge, so I called your company and you sent me the wrong charger. Need the correct one which should be for free. Thankyou

You didn't order it from Fixya.com Cindy, we don't sell anything. You need to contact the company direct in the same way you asked for a new charger.

Tablet wont charge or turn on

  1. Try a new charging cable.
  2. Make sure charging port is not broken.
These are the most common issues with tablets.
If none of these work, contact samsung support

Okay, so i recently bought a Samsung Slyde SPH-M54...

I just repaired my son's phone with the same problem. Turns out the Micro USB connector on the phone was completely un-soldered from the PCB. I simply had to solder it back on to get the battery to charge. You will need a soldering iron with a sharp tip and a steady hand. The connector is in a tight space.

My phone says "battery type non supported"

take the battery out, blow on all the ediges, as well blow in where the phone was sitting in the phone. just make sure the battery is getting a good connection with the phone. snap the back of the phone back on and make sure its on the way on.

if you still have issues its possible your battery has gone bad and you will need to get a new one.

Battery won't take a charge, just bought from Costco on the 24th. Called and was told to sent the sales slip to get a new battery? Sounds like a lot of bother when it is new?

Send a copy of the sale slip. It may get LOST in the mail, and then they will not replace your battery. It is easy fot the company to replace than fix. Some time man made items just do not work!

My samsung juke wont turn on. ive charged it several times and still nothing. ive sent it to electronic experts and nada. ive taken th battery in and out and nothing. Ive held the END button on the phone...

Does the Verizon logo flash when you plug it in? I had this same problem. Take the battery off. Plug the phone in. Observe the flashing logo. Put the battery back in. Observe "Charging..." screen. Power on. Unplug. Good to go.

Battery charging

I had the same problem, called Casio, and -- like the first solution -- they'll send a battery.  So, folks, it's a manufacturer-originated problem and kudos to Casio for owning up to it (they admitted it on the phone) and for sending the solution, a replacement battery.

Dash turns off randomly

I bought one of the intermittantly shutting off phones off ebay to see if I could fix it. I have reflashed it to wm6.1 and it still exhibits the same problems as it did on wm5 of shutting off especially during use of wifi.

So its not the operating system.

I've read that you guys are getting phones and new batteries with same problems but I see that you all have mixed the old battery with new phone or new phone with old battery, and some with new battery have not had any porblems since in old phone.

So its not the phone.

I've read several times that oem batteries seems to be all bad and that non-oem batteries have solved the problem many times, but not all the time.

So its not the battery.

Many people have said that battery is reporting a false charge but that you know that the battery is charged or not because its been charging.

So its not the charger

The Fix!! (by deduction)

Purchase a non-oem battery, and reflash the rom and charge it up, that should solve the problem. My guess is that the old battery is screwing up the charge indicator on the operating system, and when new non-oem battery installed it tends to stop charging before its complete causing the new battery never to fully charge and purpetuating the problem. I've not tried this yet, but I have a non-oem battery on the way and a fresh wm6.1 rom ready to load. I'm pretty sure this will work because the phone functions perfectly on the wall charger.
