Hi,

Either charging jack is not working properly or need to replace battery.

I have a cc 500 bat push mower the battery charger was leftout on rain the light dont come on for charger is it fried also does it have a plug that i can plug extenstion cord in or do I n

The charger lead should have been connected to a Residual Current Device, or Earth Leakage Breaker that should have flipped the power off. There should be a reset button on the plug.

Charge the mower for 14 hours before initial use. Charge mower indoors in a dry area out of the weather. DO NOT charge in rain or wet locations. IMPORTANT: Use only the battery charger provided with this mower. Plug the battery charger into the battery first, and then into any standard 110/120 volt household electrical outlet. See Fig. 3-9 for B battery charging location. A C NOTE: If an extension cord is required, use one that is at least wire size 16 AWG. Connect the extension cord to charger before plugging extension cord into electrical outlet. NOTE: You may charge the battery with the battery removed from the mower. IMPORTANT: Always recharge battery fully. It takes 14 hours to recharge a completely discharged battery. A flashing light on the battery charger indicates the battery is less than 80 percent charged; a solid green light indicates the battery is 80 to 100 percent charged. A full charge will be achieved in less than 14 hours if the batteries were only partially discharged. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged once every two months during storage. IMPORTANT: Always disconnect battery charger (or extension cord, if used) from the electrical outlet first, then disconnect battery charger from battery. NOTE: It is recommended that the mower be charged immediately after it has been discharged. Storing batteries in a discharged state could reduce future performance. WARNING: The battery contains corrosive fluid and toxic material - HANDLE WITH CARE. Keep away from children. Do not puncture, disassemble, mutilate, or incinerate. Explosive gases could be vented during charging or discharging. Use in a well ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.

Headset won't recharge battery must be dead

That may very well be the case. There is a finite number of charge / discharge cycles a battery can handle. This number varies based on the level of discharge prior to charging, temperature, etc. Some devices can operate via charger alone - and others require a small amount of battery power and a charger to operate. A classic tell tale sign is an older device that has been used regularly and charged every day or night - but was allowed to fully discharge once - due to failure to connect to the charger. Attempting to charge may indicate it is accepting a charge but goes completely dead / dark when the charger is removed. That usually indicates a battery that was drained so low that it will need to be replaced. Good luck!

I turn my tablet on then it switches it self off

Sounds like it does not have enough battery power to stay on. If you have not tried to charge it, you should try that first. If you have, it sounds like it is not getting charged or not holding a charge. Could be bad AC power source, bad charger, bad charger connection or bad battery. Take steps to confirm that each of these are good. If all of these are good, sometimes the tablet can become so discharged that it will not allow itself to charge. When they are in that state, sometimes you can trick them into charging again by repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the charger as follows: With charger plugged in to AC power source, connect the charger to the tablet. Pay attention to the screen or LED or whatever indicator your tablet has to let you know it is charging. You may see it momentarily indicate charging, or maybe not at all. Then unplug the charger from the tablet then immediately plug it back in and pay attention for the charge indication again. You may have to do this a bunch of times (like 20) until you see the indication that it is charging. When you do get the indication, stop unplugging and re-plugging and let the tablet charge for 24 hours (to a full charge). This trick doesn't always work. Sometimes the battery or charging circuit or an internal connection is bad and no amount of unplugging/re-plugging will fix a hardware problem.

Black out after churger was unplugged

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

Ryobi charger model # 140295003 has a red and yellow light. When charging red light is on what does the yellow light mean? Also how long should the battery be left in the charger?

Completely wrong. Quoting from the user's manual:

"The charge indicator light (LED), located on the charg- ing stand, will light up red and glow when the char- ger is properly connected to power supply. This light indicates the charger is operating properly. It will remain on until battery pack is removed from charging stand or charger is disconnected from power supply.

After normal usage, 3 hours or less of charging time is required to fully recharge battery pack.

If both red and orange LED indicators glow, the battery pack is deeply or completely discharged, and 6 hours or longer of charging time is required to fully recharge battery pack.

Note: If charger does not charge battery pack or orange LED continues to glow after more than 30 minutes of charging, return battery pack and charging assembly to your nearest Ryobi Authorized Service Center for electrical check."

So to summarize: red = charging. orange (yellow) = fully discharged battery. orange after 30 minutes - bad battery or bad charger.

Does it harm a Ryobi 18v lithium battery to leave on Charger?

Lithium-Ion batteries require careful charging and temperature monitoring while in the charger. Ryobi's Charging station monitors many functions and shuts off when the battery has gone through a complete charge. This is indicated by a steady Green light. Once the Charge indicator is a steady green the charger stops charging. With any battery It will slowly discharge and I don’t think the Ryobi will maintain a battery that is never removed. For example, if after a complete charge cycle if the battery was left there for 2 years and then you went to use it, it would likely be completely discharged. However if the battery charger is unplugged then plugged back in a new charge sequence would start. I lose power at my house about every 6 months or so. Once power is restored a new cycle would start and the charging cycle begins again.
Hope this helps and have a great day.

Wii charger not charging

problem is either one battery is discharged and the other is full or corrosion on battery terminal tops or batteries are defective. the red lights flash when the unit sences that the batteries have a problem with the induction charge. simple test is to using a meter measure the batteries or discharge the unit with a wire and a 2.2 volt bulb (flashlight bulb) once discharged, unplug the charger unit for over 10 secs to reset it. then plug it in and try the batteries in the packs again. if still inop then they are done for.
