If you move the head to the right side and look into the machine. You will see on the left a circular clear plastic disc. Its not perfectly clear but it will have either come away from its fixing or it may have some grease on it. Clean it as best as you can. Also behind the print head there is another clear plastic strip (not disc) which runs the full width of the machine. Also clean this.
Hopefully that should do the job.
