Please try to remove the battery unplug the computer off the wall and while its turned off press and hold the power button for 20 - 30 sec this way you can drain the flea power(static charge of the computer).
If that does not work try to go to the BIOS and load the default settings, if that still does not work reseat (remove and reinstall) the Memory Modules (RAM) of your laptop and then try to turn it on.
Usually the remove and reinstall of the RAM does the trick but if the initial steps would work for you then you wont have to got through the disassembling the cover etc.
