Question about Toshiba Satellite A55-S106 Notebook
I have a Toshiba A55-S106 and it will attempt to start up by going to the startup screen but it pops right off to a gray screen. I can hit the F10 key and left arrow and it will just stop on the startup screen picture but it doesn't do anything else. There are little icons on this (still ) screen but I don't know what to do next. The icons look like cd discs, and other stuff. Can you help me to get my computer back active?
Hi I am not sure if you have the recovery cd, but if you do. Press F10 then the left arrow until you highlight the singe cd. Press Enter and it will start recovery... I just had the same problem this morning... Toshiba wanted to charge me $35 to tell me how to do this but I figured it out. *** the guy did say something about pressing F12 to restore to previous setting ** so try that first before you reinstall the OS...
