Camera flashes error code 01, shutter will take but picture is whited out. This happened after I changed lenses on the camera even after reattaching several times thinking it was not threaded properly.

Try to clean the lens contact both on the camera and the lens.
If it doesn't work, do a firmware update of your camera.
If it is still not resolved, contact Canon directly.

Hope this helps.

I'm getting a r16 error on my D90

The "r16" in the display is not an error code. It is simply informing you of the number of exposures that can be held in the camera's internal high speed memory before shooting would have to stop while the D90 transfers the pictures to the memory card. If you held the shutter release, you could watch the r16 value decilne by one for each exposure (r15, r14, r13, etc.).

Page 256 of the D90 User's manual indeed shows the Err error code, and defines it as a "Camera Malfunction", "Release shutter. If error persists or appears frequently, consult Nikon-authorized service representative." The "err" error code is a generic error. The camera has detected a problem, but it doesn't know exacly what, similiar to the fEE code. The "err" code could be camera / lens contacts or it could be a circuit board or even shutter failure. You've already tried the common contact cleaning fix (that never seems to solve the problem) without any luck, so you might have to call Nikon Support and arrange for service.

Good luck!

Err 99(Error Code). Removed battery and re-instaled. Still no image on display or Flash Card. Problem with my EOS Rebal 300 Digital Camera.

Seems to be related to the lens, is it fit to be used with this camera? disconnect the lens and try again.

Canon 40d got wet

Put the camera in a bag of rice to dry it out, rice will absorb any remaining liquid, after 3-4 days remove it and see if it works, if no joy, then a new camera is in your future.

I'm having a couple problems with my Nikon D90 and for the life of me that manual is too confusing, The first problem I'm having is.... I'm taking pictures at my sons wrestling events and I can't get it...

I imagine your son's wrestling events are held in school gyms with lighting that is less than ideal. If you are taking pictures without a flash then the blurriness you describe could well be due to a slow shutter speed. Your camera is using a slower shutter speed to gather enough light, but your subjects are moving fast enough to cause motion blur in the picture. Either you increase the aperture (larger aperture = smaller f number), increase the ISO number (equivalent to film speed), or you use a flash. If you do use a flash, the built-in pop-up flash is only useful for close shots probably no more than 15 feet away or so. A speedlight flash, such as the Nikon SB-400, Sb-600, SB-700 or SB-900 will project the light much farther.

If you set your ISO manually to 1250 or 1600 and put your D90 on shutter-priority (the "S" on the left dial) then you can use the right rear dial to set your shutter speed and the camera will set the aperture for you. To stop the action you will likely need at least 1/125 or 1/160 of a second. Go as high (fast) as you can--the limit will be your lens. The standard "kit" lenses are mostly F5.6 as the biggest aperture, and that is limiting without a flash or daylight. You might also try a monopod--a one-legged stand--to help steady your camera for you.

Nikon d80 problem (err flashing with r09 in the lcd display)

I belive this isn't a fault but more to do with how you are using the camera. The r09 message is to do with the camera buffer and how many more pictures it can hold. You do have a memory card installed, right? The r09 is normally not an error, but simply an indicator of how many more pictures you can take in the current burst before the buffer fills. The number will vary according to the image quality and size settings.

Please help...I can't take any pictures!

Possibility one : lens unit faulty and proper focus is not being achieved camera goes into error mode because of this and then it switches off to prevent further damage.( replace /repair lens unit ) Possibility two: shutter faulty . Lens delivers proper focus but when you try to take picture goes into error mode because shutter not coming on line or malfanctions. ( replace shutter only ).
