Question about Computers & Internet

Hi, i have an Acer Aspire 5741G and i have a problem that keeps reoccurring every now and then. My laptop keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from my internet although it shows that i have excellent signal strength. All other laptops in my household work fine with the internet from the same range as my laptop and my previous laptop also worked fine with the internet. How can i fix this?

Try restoring the wireless network card's defaults. If you're using windows, I guess the easiest way is to delete it from device manager, then restart you computer and wait for windows to re-install it -this will happen automatically without the need of your intervention.

Good luck

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

No bootable device insert boot disk and press any key acer aspire 5741g. Then I turn on my acer aspire 5741g . This is my problem. Can you help me ?

The notebook cannot detect the hard disk when you turn on the notebook.
First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Next - to check if the harddrive is faulty, remove the hard drive and insert it into an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a workingcomputer's USB port. If this computer cannot see itas an external hard drive and you cannot open the various folders and files, this confirms the hard drive is faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.
