You have either a faulty flood switch or due to leak water has collected in the flood switch which shuts of the water inlet valve and operates the drain pump.

If you can get the dishwasher out from under the sink and after turning the power off tilt the dishwasher from side to side. If water has collected in the flood switch that will come out and after a little while turn on power and see if dishwasher works.

You will have to replace the flood switch. Please do not rate the solution as inappropriate as yet. I have indicated in my earlier response to you that the flood switch itself could be faulty and triggering the flood safety system.

My Electrolux dishwasher ES167070xr is showing fault code i30 -anti flood. How can I fix it?

There is a sensor under that unit that detects water. IF there is a leak in the tub, it shuts off. Take the front kick panel off and look to see if there is any water under that machine or in the pan. If so dry it out and run it and see where it is coming from.

The anti-flood system has been triggered on ELECTROLUX ESF 656 how can I fix it?

The anti-flood system has been triggered means that water remains in base because leakage or overflow. In this case, in order to prevent flooding, drain pump running continuously.
Remedy: you should first remove the water from the bottom of the dishwasher and determine leakage.
If you work around the dishwasher, you always take care that appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.

Electrolux dishwasher giving error code 1?

Good Morning Brian,

I understand that you are receiving an error code 1 on your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EWDW6505GS. Error 1 is stating that water has been detected underneath the tub. Check underneath your dishwasher by taking off the kick plate below the door. If you do not notice any water underneath the tub or any types of leaking, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 20-30 minutes. When the time has passed, restore power, and run any cycle. If you are still receiving error code 1, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Repair retractable cord

Depending on which model of Electrolux you have and how far out you have pulled out the cord (most of the Electrolux canisters have a yellow tape around the machine end of the cord to alert you not to pull it out any further), you might have to take it apart to fix it. However, the first thing that I would try would be to stand it on the end (the hose end at the top), and pull short jerks on the cord to see if it will correct itself and retract. If that does not fix it, I would stick a screwdriver in the hole where the cord comes out of the machine and attempt to wind the cord reel back up which will slowly wind the cord back up on the cordwinder. This usually cause the cord to wind back up. If that does not work, then the only option is to take the machine apart to fix it.

Electrolux Ref. 3yrs old. ice maker will not make ice, water dispencer will work. I have replaced filter.Ice maker goes through the motion but, no water. can you help me?

Hi,

either your fill tube is clogged or the water valve in the back of the refer has failed. Go to the back of the unit, if my memory is correct the yellow hose is for the ice maker, at the water valve disconnect the 1/4 hose from the valve to the ice maker only, place valve in a bowl, cycle ice maker. If you get water, fill tube is obstructed, if not water the valve has failed and needs to be replaced.

Good Luck

Water leak from Electrolux Kelvinator EPK09CRN2A portable air conditioner

You'll have to open it up and check for a displaced condensate collector. This may look like a funnel with a drain tube that is supposed to go to the tray

Drum is leaking in our Frigidaire GLTF1670ASo Washing Machine. Is it worth fixing a 9 year old washer with this problem, I am thinking of buying a new washer. Please advise.

With nine years your machine reached an age that I consider close to end-of-life. Frigidaire / Electrolux boasts 25 years of warranty to some parts, but don't count on it. They'll enforce handling by an authorized service partner, upfront payment of several hundred dollars and eventually refuse refund due to too hard water in your area or they'll blame you of using unsuited detergents, all after two months of processing.

Leaking drums for these machines are quite common as they put together unsuited metals, in this case an aluminum extrusion spider in the back of the inner drum and steel parts elsewhere. Corrosion and leaking is pre-programmed.

Water dispenser leak all the time how can i fix it?

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Check hose error on electrolux wave touch washing machine

I'm sure nojallo1 has already fixed his but I just ran into the same problem and didn't find anything in my searches for a solution. The problem I had was the test cycle wasn't long enough to get hot water through my water lines so it could verify the hot and cold hoses were in the proper places. Solution: Turn the hot water on in all the sinks in your house until they have hot water running through them. This will prime your hot water line so it is full of hot water instead of cold water. Then run the install cycle again and it should be fine.
