Question about Cameras

1 Answer

The problem is that the zoom moves in and out several times and then turns off. DO NOT turn on the display, only when I put the USB cable. Do you have a solution?

As soon as i switch on it gets it gets locked in P mode with some little zoom and fixed settings. i would like to start clicking straight away> How do I adjust the settings.

The scrolling wheel around the four-way controller is ideal for moving through images at different rates. Turn it aggressively and the display switches to several shots on the screen at once, which works surprisingly well in moving through a full memory card.

Pushing the zoom lever right magnifies the image in stages, up to 10x. Moving in the other direction offers two levels of thumbnail views followed by an 'event index' that organizes photos based on time and date taken.

My pc does not read my psp, how do i fix it.? do i need to install a psp driver.? where do i find such driver for free.?

Hook up your Sony PSP to your computer via a USB cable. Turn on the PSP and put it in "USB CONNECT " mode (it should display the words "USB CONNECT" on the PSP display during the entire time you're transferring files, and plug it in if you don't have a fully charged battery).

When I start my computer up my Philips Monitor

Good day sir/maam, hi, the problem may not be your monitor but your PC, they produce the same symptoms if your PC has no video to display. does your monitor led/lamp lights up as turn on your computer? If you want to test your monitor, go bring it to a friend who has a computer, test it there. if it works, your pc has a problem, so try the following first.
  1. Open you PC side cover, locate the memory module, remove the momory by releasing the side clamps. clean the contacts using an eraser (pencil) then put it back, you will clicks as you put it back on, test again. Do it several times if the first try fails.
  2. Check your Power supply, does it gives out hot air exhaust?
  3. Did you hear one beep, (good) or several beeps(bad).
  4. As you power on the pc check your keyboard light, first set of lights (Num lock+Caps Lock+ Scroll lock) then second set of light (Numlock only). At this point your pc is good.
Hope this helps, let me know your progress.

Turns off right away

hi...ensure that the camera is turned on. If applicable, ensure the lens cover has been removed before taking pictures. the LCD backlight is turned on by pressing the DISPLAY button several times until the screen appears. Depending on the camera model, the DISPLAY button may be labeled as DISP or with a display icon. This button could be a standalone button or it depends upon the camera model.....
If operating the camera with a battery, ensure the battery is fully charged.
Ensure the battery is inserted properly in the camera.
If operating the camera with the power adapter, ensure it is plugged into a working AC outlet.
Ensure no Audio/Video (A/V) cables are connected for viewing pictures on a TV; the LCD screen will not display when an A/V cable is connected.
Perform a reset procedure on the camera....

Zoomed moving display while mouse is moving

You have screen zoom turned on. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel please hold down CTRL and move your mouse wheel down to return to original screen size.

If you need more help go into System Preferences> Keyboard and mouse> Mouse Tab and at the bottom it will tell you the settings for Zooming, if you don't need it I suggest you turn it off.

Hope that helps!

With the camera turned off, connect the USB cable to the PC and plug the smaller end into the camera. The camera will turn on and display the selection screen for USB. Use the arrow keys to select the PC option and then press the OK button. The camera will be recognized by the computer as a removable drive. There are instructions available at our web site (http://www.olympusamerica.com/download). For editing and managing image files with a PC, install the Olympus Master 1.0 software from the supplied CD-ROM. After installing the software, connect your camera to the PC via the USB cable provided.
