Copy quality from my sharp AR 275 copier keeps fading away. I have replaced the drum. I cannot locate the corona wire. where is it located.

If you lighten the exposure do the lines fade away ? It most likly needs a drum or a drum cleaning blade. Good luck.

Did they clean the laser unit?

You can play with bias to raise the copy darkness.

For start you can open the front door and right side way door, remove drum unit, and you will be able to see long glass above drum unit. clean it with the dry wipe or wet one but be sure to dry it.

By my experience it is a good low maintenance copier... if the preventive maintenance is carried out correctly, every 60 000 copies more or less.

In AR 275 Sharp copier U2 40 is very common problem

The corona in the drum unit might be dirty which causes an arc that pulls the developer out, Take drum unit out and there are 2 black tabs with a screw in them, Remove the two screws and remove the corona and clean. Be very carefull not to scratch or touch the drum.

replace the corona units... if they go bad everything goes black

Clean the charge corona wire/charge corona roller and the charge corona wire gride,and the transfer/separation corona wire/roller.After clean the units and clean the optical section perform the auto image adjust mode.

Hello sir; there have no reset key for maintenence, whenevere PM light on you need to do PM service (such as replace drum developer, drum blade etc.)

F28 High voltage leak. (coronas)

The corona wires are arcing, it is located directly under the drum a unit with three thin wires. the end blocks go bad and it arcs causing jams and copy quality problems, replace the corona ***'y.

Other cause may be the High voltage unit for the coronas itself
