When battery doors get jammed usually it is either as a result of the spring mechanism being spoilt or an external item holding the door back. But most times if the door is being opened for the first time then it is because the cover has stayed shut for so long a time that a seal has formed there all you have to do is try applying a bit of force on it and it should pop open. If you are sure the lock mechanism has been freed then just apply a bit of force and that should do the trick.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Is there a switch on the door jam for the interior lights? If not it may have a switch in the door handle mech. If the switch is in the door jam, remove it and check the switch with a multi-meter. Remember its DC voltage.

Possible check and see if the lock is jammed or damaged. If so click on this link: Door lock

Also it is possible that the door hinges could be faulty and it can change the alignment of the door which could jam the door.

Lock jammed in lock position. Dead battery.

Hold up on your door handle like you're opening the door and then pull that piece up with your finger or a screwdriver. It will be stuck until you tell it to release, just like you're opening the door. Then charge your battery and you'll be good as new.

Interior lights staying on killing the battery

Interior lights are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM)
The door jam switches input to the BCM is a door is open or closed.
You may have a door jam switch that is sticking or coroded, causing the
lights to do this, or a BCM acting up.
Remove the door jam switches and inspect. Disconnecting the switches
should make the lights to go out...Hope this helps.

Paper jams using nextech premium photo pape gloss finish

  1. Before you do anything else, turn the printer off and on by following these steps:
    1. Turn off the printer by pressing the Power button.
    2. If the optional HP Photosmart Internal Battery is not installed in the printer, unplug the printer power cord. Wait about 10 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
    3. If the optional HP Photosmart Internal Battery is installed in the printer, unplug the printer power cord, if it is plugged in. Open the battery compartment cover and remove the battery. Wait about 10 seconds, then reinstall the battery. If desired, plug in the power cord.
    4. Turn on the printer. The printer checks for paper in the paper path and will automatically eject the jammed paper. Press OK to continue.
If the error still occurs, go on to the next step.
  2. If the paper came part way through the front of the printer, gently pull the paper towards you to remove it.
  3. If the paper did not come part way through the front of the printer, try removing it from the back of the printer:
    1. Remove the paper from the In tray, then push in the catches to release the in tray. Figure 1: In tray catches c00256377.jpg
    2. Open the In tray to a horizontal position.
    3. Gently pull the jammed paper to remove it from the back of the printer.
    4. Before you lift the In tray to close it, make sure it is pushed all the way to the right on its hinges. Figure 2: Pushing the tray to the right before closing c00256378.jpg
    5. Lift the In tray up until it snaps back into paper-loading position.
  4. Open and close the pen door on the front of the printer to make sure it is securely latched. Figure 3: Opening and closing the pen door c00269435.gif
How to avoid paper jams
  • Make sure that the cartridge door on the front of the printer is securely closed.
  • If you experience paper jams while printing, try loading one sheet of photo paper at a time. Insert the paper as far as it will go into the In tray.
  • Do not add paper while the unit is printing.
  • Do not use paper that is too thin, too slick, or that stretches.
  • Do not use torn or creased paper. Paper that has been printed previously may cause jams.

Cant get in car to pop hood, dead battery key hole jammed!!

at this point you have 2 options, 1, go to a parts store and get a jimmy kit that helps you break into the car by unlocking the door, whicch sometimes can be tricky or if you have aaa they will unlock it for you for free, 2, you would have to reach from underneath and feel around for the cable, folow it to the latch assembaly and carefully release the latch assembaly, this way wil be very difficult and a tight area.
Good Luck.

Stuck battery/ScanDisk card

Unfortunately, you have to force the battery door (very carefully) to open it, and find what is wrong with it.

It is more likely that when closed the battery door, it was forced and it slided out of one guide channels.

You need to practice a little bit before to try it with force (genlty but with firm force), but the only way to do it is slide the button to open it, and at the same time slide to the side and pull the battery door, everything at the same time. Try it until you are able to open it.

Using any kind of tool (such a plastic pry tool, a small screwdriver, etc) to force will leave marks in the housing, and it's very possible that the plastic locking tabs will break, causing that you will open it, but unable to close properly again.

Best regards,

Has been sitting for months, dead battery. door locks are jammed

Take nozzle of WD-40, stick it in key slot as far as you can, lots of spray in there and keep spraying as you pull little red nozzle out slowly, and give it a little time, and try working key, first just slide it in & out a few times then keep trying to turn it. May take 2 or 3 sprayings to unseize things.

Alarm system

Just curious, do you have an entry system?
or does it open with a key?
What happens when you try to start the car?
Anyway, I probably would disconnect the battery,
wait a few minutes and reconnect it if nothing else works.
Another thought is try all the doors.
There could be one door causing the whole problem.
Good Luck,
Paul
