Battery I have a weed eater wlt24 cordless trimmer. The charger light will not light up anymore showing that the battery is charging. Also the battery will not hold a charge but for only about 5 to 10 minutes. Before you say that it is the charger I have it with another charger that and I get the same results. Help!!!!!!! Betty

Battery is dead, maybe you need to ask for the guarantee

The Charger is actually bad, just like mine. The battery partially recovers if you do not use it so it only appears that it charges up a little. I am trying to find a replacement charger.

The battery will only blink on red. It won't charge.

Your battery is probably shot. The batteries for the Worx trimmers are terrible. They sell replacement batteries on ebay, but if you can afford it i highly recommend buying a quality trimmer from your local hardware store, either plug in or gas.

How long should trimmer run on a charge.

How large is your yard? On a small yard (like a townhouse front & back yard) the trimmer should last long enough to do the yard a couple of times before needing to be recharged, but it depends on the individual yard, how many weeds you have, and whether you keep it running a long time.

If the trimmer charges at all but not for a very long time, it's either the charger or the battery. Check the charger when it's charging to make sure the red light stays on -- if it goes off or blinks, you need a new charger. If the charger light stays on but the battery doesn't hold a charge, you need a new battery.

Hope that helps!
