Look for a switch on the back, usually in a corner, they can be difficult to see. It took me an hour to realize this when I bought my new tv!
hope this helps.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sound doesn't work in HDMI mode, just picture. I tried buying a new HDMI cord but that didn't work either. Then one night the TV just turned off and now it won't turn back on.

Likely not related but HDMI does not like being connected if either unit is plugged in or powered up.

As to the TV let me know the brand and model number and what if any lights at all come on when you plug it in etc.

Toshiba BDX3300 doesn't have a menu screen, but it turns on

What kind of tv are you plugging this into? Also has the input jacks on the tv ever been yanked on while something else was plugged in? Something might have been damaged on the TV.

I have on Red on the TV?

It's likely the cable (HDMI or Composite) that you have plugged into the back of your TV. First try unplugging then plugging back in. If that doesn't work, try a new cable.

PSP wil not connect to television at all.

Disconnect the battery, reconnect and switch it on whilst holding down both top two corner clear buttons. It should restart in recovery mode. Toggle down and select RECOVERY folder, then select. If this folder is corrupted you will have to get a copy off of the internet and replace it using the usb connector. This usually does the trick, if it will not start in recovery mode, it's a SONY job...

We had our ps2 hooked up to an old rca tv and was using the satelite remote for it channel had to be on 00 for the ps2 to work. We got a new tv and hav moved the rca and ps2 to another place but don't...

New tv's don't use dead channels like 00 anymore for there inputs.. They use sources to change from different inputs.. Make sure you have your ps2 hooked up into input plugs on the tv and then turn it on the ps2 then look on the new controller for the tv & find a button saying source .. Press that until you see your ps2 on the screen. If not check your connections try again.

THE T V WILL NOT POWER ON

plug the cord into the outlet. If the wall outlet doesn't work find a different one. If the tv doesn't turn on with the remote take the plastic off of the batteries in the remote. if this all doesn't work, then there's something wrong with the tv and you should return it and get a new one.
