I have an HTC Desire HD now that I am syncing with with outlook (MS Office 2003)The "Sorting / displaying" of my contacts is all wrong (Joe Bloggs that was saved under "B" fopr Blogs is now under "J" for Joe And When I had an entry in for "ABC Building" the ABC Building was entered under the company name (nothing was entered in the Full name section of the Outlook contacts, because that would have automatically reversed the entry to "Building ABC" with the Building being a Surname and ABC being a Christian Name.

When you sync contacts with MS Outlook, your computer will read the contact type as a method of determining the type of contact to create. A contact on your phone with a work number listed and a contact name may still populate a business contact. DO this. Take an hour and go through your phone and make sure all your contacts are set up as follows.
Make sure all first names are in the field labeled "first name" Make sure all last names are in the field labeled "last name" Make sure all business names are in "business / company" Confirm all numbers listed are cell / home / pager for personal contacts Confirm Work or Office for others now that you are all cleaned up. go to the "go" menu in outlook and select "contacts" and delete them and try again

HTC HD and MS Outlook Notes

Unfortunately, Notes are not available using Exchange ActiveSync, yet.

You have to tether your phone to a PC with Outlook and ActiveSync (XP) or Windows Mobile Device Center (Vista) installed.

Since mutiple ActiveSync partnerships are supported you can sync some things with Exchange and some with your PC.

If we are lucky Windows Mobile 7 and/or Exchange 2010 will make this possible.

How to download outlook for ms office 2003

You do not want to download the Free Outlook 2003 (any site offering free outlook 2003 is a scam/spyware filled) You can download Outlook free as a trial from Microsoft. Do not trust and Outlook or other Office software from any place besides Microsoft.. You want to download Microsoft Office 2007 Pro which is paid software. MS Outlook 2003 is not free. Go to Microsoft.com

I dont see my sent items after i import my email outlook 2003

MS Office Outlook 2003 will only show those e-mails in the sent items folder that were sent using the e-mail client application (i.e. MS Office Outlook 2003).

Any messages sent from the server itself wil not display.
