Question about Heating & Cooling
Hello, it could very well be a leak, if the air filter, evap coil, and airflow all seem ok then i would suspect a leak. Depending on where it leaks will depend on how much it will cost, if it is just a leaky schreader valve core then the core is just replaced and freon is added to the proper level. This would be somwere in the 100-150 dollar range. However, if it is a leak somwhere in tne lineset or in the evap coil then the leak must be repiared, a vacuum pulled on tje unit, nitrogen added, and finnally freon chraged back in, this would be closer to 400 dollar range. I hope this helps
