Defrost thermostat or heating element malfunction, most likely the defrost thermostat. Other causes Blocked refrigerator vent. temperature controls off. Start by looking to see if the back wall of the freezer is covered with frosty ice. if so you probably need to replace the defrost thermostat. Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-h541_14ZE

Domestic fridge bottom won't cool but freezer still freezes, what may be the problem?

The freezer feeds cold air into the refrigerator section to provide cooling. Make sure that the freezer evaporator fan is operational as well as the baffle (trapdoor) that feeds the refrig section.

Ge tfx25jrbb-ww refridgerator not cooling

The first thing to check is if you can hear the fan running inside the freezer. This not only keeps the whole freezer cold it alspo circulates air down to the refrigerator keeping it cool as well.

Freezer quit however fridge appears to be cooling...

if there is a fan in the freezer; in that is not working then yes OR the thermostat has gone. But the unit only has one compressor and if the fridge is working it is normally a good sign.

If you where really concerned you could call a domestic refrig tech they could fix it.

Hope that this helps
