1 Answer

Just set this new tv up. It has a great picture but no volumne. When going to audio to try and program it's not highlighted so cannot get into it. Give a pop up that reads "wired headset connected" we do not have any headset connected. How can we get volume to work.

i do not have a remote ! This tv was a display model and did not cone w a remote. Can I program my satellite remote to it then fix the volume issue?

I now have a remote fr tv - pushing the mute button did nothing to turn earpiece off. Earpiece jack is not faulty- plugged in earphones and they work fine. Just can't turn that option off. Audio functions still not highlighted so doesn't allow any changes. What to do?

You may follow the steps below.
First check the speaker set-up on the menu.
> Go to menu(Audio setup)
> Scroll down to the Tv speaker
> Select on.
If the steps above didn't solved the problem, let the unit back to Audio factory settings.
> Go to menu(Audio setup)
> Scroll down to sound mode, then reset.
> Select reset, then enter.
Let me know if the symptom still there.

I want you to hit the mute button on the remote because it will shuts off the headset, and will confirmed if the earphone jack is faulty. I've suspected that you're earphone jack is faulty. Once the earphone jack is faulty, you must replaced it with new one or you may spray directly with electrical contact cleaner while inserting and pulling the earphone plug to clean its contact.

Some dish remote can use as a universal remote to control other devices. Instructions and codes is listed in its supplied manual.

You may click this LINK to order online for the replacement of your remote control.

If you hear the sound from your earphone, this is a proof that the earphone jack is faulty that's why the you can't access it to the menu.

I will explain to you why.

When you plug-in the earphone to the jack, this jack has an internal switch that will switch off the sound from the tv speaker and same with the access to the menu. The problem here is, when you pull-out the earphone the internal switch will back the sound to the tv speaker. The internal switch is stuck to earphone that's why the sound can't come on to the tv speaker. You must replaced this jack to cure the symptoms...

I dont have any sound on my p50xha10us

Just check this set connected to any external audio devices, such as an amplifier. Use TVs'audio out connections to the audio in connections of the amp, and see whether the amp produces sound. If yes, the fault will be either to the inside speaker of your set, or its audio output card. If there is no sound produced by the amp too, the digital processor section of the TV's main board is faulty. The main board has to be replaced.

No volumn

Sub another set of audio/video cable, if no change! hook the DVD player to another TV set to rule out the TV'S if there is no change, far cheaper to replace player.

My television set is stuck on one channel....the audio changes with the channel but the picture stays blurred on one channel...whats wrong with it?

Lots of possibilities. If you are using the remote, try also using buttons on the TV to change channels. If TV buttons work, the remote is broken or perhaps try changing batteries and cleaning battery contacts on the remote. If neither work, lots of other things to try. You may need to set preselect channels, so your TV thinks there is only one channel out there until you do. If you are on a cable box you just need channel 3 and change channels on the cable box. I can't tell what you mean by "audio changes with the channel" ... if you mean that when you try to advance channels, it increases volume and moving down in channels lowers volume that would be strange -- if you are using a programable remote it might not be set correctly (try another programming code). The "blurred" picture is probably symptomatic of having the set on the wrong channel, and if you could set channel it might clear up ... I'd start with getting channels to change. If you need more help, give the brand and model of TV, say if you are using a remote (original or programable), and what the 'audio changes' comment means in more detail. Probably worst case is that your tuner circuit is fried, but don't assume that without more diagnostic.

It sounds like the program is trying to access things it's not allowed to. Have you tried running it as an administrator?

RCA 46 in rear projection

The first thing that I would check is in the audio menu to see if it is set on the SAP mode (secondary audio programming). If it is and there is no audio being broadcast on that channel, then you would have to turn SAP to off (which is usually what it is set to). Now there have been problems with the audio dropping out on regular CRT style RCA televisions where the audio would drop out, and you had to unplug the set for about 30 seconds to reset the TV, and I would try that next.
