Try unplugging your t.v for a few minutes, then plug it back in. if it continues check your owners manual or google your issue. this might be the red flash of death. hopefully unplugging it works. good luck!

Sony KDL 46HX820 turns on, then off and red light blinks four times.

Re: Bravia KDL46EX720. Red LED blinks 4 times and TV wont turn on. What is the problem?

Do a Power Reset.

1. Turn off the TV.
2. Unplug the power cord of the TV from the electrical outlet.
3. Let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds.
4. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. (If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.)
5. Turn on the TV.

If the issue still persists after performing power reset, that may be an indication that the TV needs service. You may refer to this link to locate the nearest Sony authorized service center in your area.

Sony bravia kdl55hx729 3d led tv turns on 3 seconds shows picture than four red flashes

Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

The red standby light flashes in the code of 4 times then pauses then 4 times then pauses

Five times blinks to Sony Bravia is related with an IRK error. It is related to its main digital board. In most cases, the main board might need replacement. It will be best to contact the authorized service center for Sony. Over voltage protection function is turned ON. Just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so and check. If it do not help you, the main power regulator board should be checked and replaced. If you wish to get more details about blinking codes to Sony brand TVs, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by type in the model name to your set in its search box, or view it in Mosaic /Timeslide option.

Sony Bravia 46" The standby light flashes four

Hi,
If tv model number is KDL-46S2000 then 4 times blinking standby light indicates back light failure problem in your tv.
Check/ replace back light inverter boards to solve its problem.
Thanks.

Four blinking red lights.

Either on of the backlight inverter boards is bad or a backlight has failed inside the panel.
