Can the freq 156,600 be put in this radio if so how do i do it

No, 156.600 MHz is not one of the 27 VHF frequencies available in the CP100 VHF radio. (If by chance you have a typo and you meant to ask about the common frequency of 154.600 MHz, aka green dot, it is available in the CP100 VHF.)

Here is a link to a website with the user guide:
http://www.essnashville.com/CP100-operationsmanual-021407.pdf The frequency chart is on page 34. Programming instructions begin on page 20.

Best regards.

A CP100 ECG. Replaced battery. Still won't turn

could be the charging circuit. You need to make sure the new battery is actually charging through the machine. You can use a volt meter to do this. If you need more assistance you can email me at wats@mesasales.com

Trying to link up cp100 to cp110 radio

I don't have enough information to fully help you, however, it would appear your CP100s have the interference eliminator code enabled and the CP110s do not. If you know how to reprogram the CP100, you can simply turn the code to zero. (The dealer who sold you the new radios should have gathered info regarding the programming of your existing units, then they would have matched out of the box.)

How do I Reset my T5000 2 way radio to factory default

The T5000 Talkabout radio default settings are not the same as the CP100 and CLS. The CLS and the CP100 UHF are capable of being programmed to match one another on several frequencies, however, the TalkAbout T5000 is not capable of any of them.

The Talkabout radios, as a general rule, are limited to FRS and GMRS frequencies. The CP100 and CLS are from the business and light consumer divisions. They will do most of the common 56 UHF business frequencies.

If you would like to look at the frequency charts yourself, here are some links.

Here are the frequencies possible on the T5000 http://www.fixya.com/support/p514922-motorola_talkabout_t5000_2_way_radio/manual-362/page-17

Memory Loss

Many devices utilize a small battery for system memory purposes, such as radio station presets. It draws a small continuous current for that purpose. If your system used to keep the presets when disconnected, then I would guess that?s the case. Search for a small battery compartment in the back of the system, take out the battery and take it with you to be replaced with one just like it. If that doesn't fix it, then i hope you're still under warranty, otherwise either you'll have to live with it or take it to a repair shop. Good luck!
