Question about Televison & Video
What is the make and model of the tv? Also how long have you owned the tv? Once I have that information I can assist you further. Sometimes a defective panel could cause this although 8 dead pixels is not a ton but if it keeps on increasing then it is cause for concern. If it is under warranty then this should be covered for replacement. Usually when they are white, that means they are "stuck" pixels rather then dead. You could try tapping on the pixel start softer and go a little harder. If it is under warranty I would not do anything but contact the manufacturer immediately.
