Question about Nikon D70s Digital Camera

Camera turns on, does everything it should, but when you push the shutter button, nothing happens...

What do you have the mode selector set at? That is the knurled knob top left of camera with icons for Fully Automatic shooting (Green icon under Green word AUTO). Opposite Auto are icons for Video shooting and I would guess this where your camera is set.
Set it on Auto an try again.

Try to autofocus first by half press the shutter button, after focus confirmed then fully push the shutter button. Basically camera won't take picture if the focus not focused correctly.

Kodak DX 7440 Won't Take Pictures


hi try to reset ur camera...To do such reset, turn on the camera and hold the menu button down for longer than 5 seconds. A message should hopefully come up on your LCD asking if you want to reset the camera. Select Yes...thank u!!!

Have you tried to reset the camera? I seen this a few times .. and the camera reset did the trick. I've never heard of the motor noise though.

Error. Press shuter release button again


I was taking pictures, then when I pressed the shutter release button, it took a long time. Then the error message came up. I tried pressing the shutter release button again, nothing happens. Still the error message. Please help me

No picture taken when shutter release is pressed


if you see no reation of the pressing of the button i.e. no focusing, no error message nothing , then most probably a simplest problem , the shutter release button may not be working for few reasons : 1) defective switch. 2) defective flex cable. 3) camera exposed to some physical jerk or dropping resulting into disalingment between inner switch and the shutter release button.
