Hi, the AUX mode is accessed by pressing the SRC button, but the name that appears for "AUX" can be changed. It may be that you are seeing one of the alternate names. Reviewing page 9 of the manual I got here: http://manual.kenwood.com/files/B64-1876-00.pdf
I saw there are are 4 other names other than "AUX", which are "TV", "VCP", "GAME", and "PORTABLE". If you see any of these names when pressing "SRC," stop there and hold the "DISP" button down for at least 2 seconds. The display should then blink "AUX-name". You can then switch the name of the AUX mode using the >> button. Please let me know if you have more questions. and thanks for using FixYa.

Can I connect my hmdx rave to my next book?

Yes, you'll need a 3.5 mm audio cable (PC audio) with M/M ends. Connect the cable between the headphone jack of the Next Book and the Aux Input of the Rave speaker. The Aux Input jack on the speaker is between the charging port and the On/Off switch. The headphone jack is between the power button and the DC Power Input port on some Next Book models; you should check your unit's documentation for the exact location. Only the volume controls on the Rave speaker will work. You'll need to select tracks and press Play/Pause on the Next Book.

I hope this helps.

try and RV center.
owners manual? there will not be one for the whole thing/.

start with what is bad, get a book for that.
engine, drive line, body lights?
or all the vast number of accessories, 1 book each 1 at a time.
its an RV like asking for book, on a house.
why not state a problem and ask for help. and book on same.

My daughter has an Iwantit ipod speaker model IW900 and it works/sounds fine with her ipod usind the dedicated ipod connector. On the the back of the speaker there is an Aux in socket. She would like...

It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.

Aux in runs only back speakers and no volume control

This also happened to me, I just replaced the cable and works fine now.

I have a universal remote control device(G.E.) that i want to use for a Sanyo DWM395 DVD Player. i lost the instructions with the codes though. can you please help me with this issue? thanks!

Try this through your Remote, it should automatically search & detect devices automatically without the need to know the codes.

USING CODE SEARCH FUNCTION
If your TV, VCR, DVD, etc. does not respond after you have tried all the codes
for your brand or if your brand is not listed, try searching for your codes by
following the steps below.
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
2. Press and hold CODE SEARCH/SETUP until the INDICATOR
LIGHT lights, then release.
3. Press and release the device button for the device you are
programming (TV, VCR, DVD, etc.). The INDICATOR LIGHT will
blink once then remain lit. For AUX, press AUX then the device
button you are assigning to AUX.
4. Press and release POWER until your device turns off. Wait at least
2 seconds between each time you press POWER. Important: You
may have to press POWER up to 250 times.
5. When your device turns off press the ENTER/SAVE button. The
INDICATOR LIGHT will go off.

Downloading music from internet to an MP3 player

I guess Sanyo means that have an input jack (line in or aux) where you can connect your mp3 player (after you've downloaded music into it), then hear it on your hi-fi.

Just make sure you connect either the line out or the earphone jack from your mp3 player to the aux or line-in on your hi-fi, then set the hi-fi to play aux or line-in.
