I've had this problem and It's frustrating but usually not too bad as long as you have your installation and or driver disks. If it's from before Windows 7 you should have one somewhere around but If it is Windows 7 you kinda had to make it yourself and I believe your only allowed to make one. Now if you don't, don't freak, you could get one from the company associated with your laptop,or windows directly (they should be free but you may have to pay shipping and handling), worst case get one from some tech store. They will charge you and arm, then bring it back saying it wasn't what you thought it was, your not reinstalling your OS (that would wipe your old stuff) your just doing a recovery.
Try reinstalling Drivers first.
First try using the Driver disk in safe mode or another regular start up way and fixing your drivers from in safe mode or regular start up or if that doesn't work try the following but with the Driver installation disk.
Step 1 of Startup Repair or a Systems Recovery.
Then on next boot put in the disk and press F12 (should be somewhere above the keyboard minus sign) on boot up as soon as you can.
Step 2 Now boot from disk instead of the "C:" drive and follow the instruction.
Step 3.1 Once pass the prompt asking you to install Windows Do not reinstall the OS
You should see this after... everytime I try to logg - 66b9e3c2-bb67-47bf-802c-b753b54bcc19.jpg

Click Startup Repair first (don't worry if it take a hour (probably won't but you never know))
It should restart and work

Step 3.2 If not do Steps 1 and 2 again but in step three click Systems Recovery.
Now if that does not work contact me again (or if you don't mind and need it now you can reinstall and wipe everything A CHOICE I NEVER CONDONE)

Keeps shutting down

Does the Blue screen appear before it shuts down? If so, what info does it give? What programs are you running, games/internet surfing, when it shuts down? How long has it been since you have cleaned it(compressed air)? Are you blocking the air vents, either on the back, sides or bottom of the computer?

Blue screen appears after loggin into windows 7 pro 32bit

try reboot in safe mode and try a system restore...r if u want u can go to the event viewer and try searching ur error log and see if u can find the problem yourself. most times its a bad driver r a newly install software r even update causing the problem r a virus... if u have a backup on hand just restore ur system.

I have another computer that has a Security alert Warning that comes up as soon as I turn it on. When I click Deny it comes back immediately. I try to bring up a web page and it clears The address says:...

first of all this is a spyware so do not click on agree as it will just make it worst ....
first of all connect the system using a wired connection to the internet
and follow the steps exactly
1) shut the system down
2) restart the system and the moment u hit the power button start tapping f8 and u will get an advance startup menu select the option safe mode with networking
3) and than loggin using the admin account if available or just loggin using the account which has admin rights
4) than chk out if the net is working , go to the website and than to the download section and download combofix and run it after its complete it will restart the system on its own and go to the website again and than download the superantispyware and install it and run it
the issue will be resolved

Loggs out of windows xp

Normally these type of issue occurs when there is any problem with the Operating System files. However, you can check the display in Safe mode. Just restart the notebook and keep on tap F8 and select safe mode.

If the notebook is fine in Safe mode, it is the issue with drivers.

If the issue persists, you can try the Windows Repair using Recovery discs that came with the notebook.
