I DID NOT find a solution; but I did find that you charge entirely too much for a
service that may or may not help me. I have tried online tech support before and I
got lost in the shuffle because people want to talk to me as if I am computer savy.

MiniDV camcorder.

Have you tried recording new video to a new tape and trying to play it? Your old tapes could have become corrupt.

What brand/model of camera do you have? What type of connection are you using to the TV? Composite or S-Video?

Thanks.

I cannot show pictures on my tv from my sony 120 . I have the cords and the input on the tv but nothing happens when I try to show them???The manual suggest to delete the usb port???

Hi,

You can either use the supplied A/V and USB Multi connector cable for connecting the Camera to the TV. Connect the Yellow cable to the Yellow port on the TV for Video and the Red and White for audio. Then select the proper input on the TV where the cable is connected.
You may also connect the HD Out of the Camera to the HDMI Input on the TV using the compatible HDMI cable for the Camera.
Before connecting the Camera to the TV, you may have to change the settings in the Camera depends on the TV type.
1. Component Settings from the Main Settings 2 Menu of the Camera should be set to HD or SD depends on the connection. Also depends on HDMI (HD) or A/V (SD) video connection.
2. Video Out Settings from the Main Settings 2 menu of the Camera should be set to NTSC or PAL depends upon the color system of the TV.
Try changing the settings in the Camera and connect it to the TV to view the images.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Cannot get video cable hookup to tv to display pictures on the tv

Connect video out terminal with provided cable to the composite video input (yellow) on your TV. Select that input on the TV and then playback the images using the image review button. Make sure the lead is seated properly.

If it still doesn't work, try another TV.

I had a similar problem with my Sharp camorder.
The preview window on XP simply displays corrupted images.
At the end, I bought a different firewire card and it worked for me.

Good luck.

Linking my canera to the TV to view the pic's

Playing Back images/Video Clips on TV You can also playback your images on a TV screen. Before connecting to any device, make sure to select NTSC/PAL system to match the video output system of the video equipment you are going to connect to Vivicam 5340s, then turn all connected devices off. 1. Position Vivicam 5340s on the cradle. 2. Match the docking connectors and carefully insert Vivicam 5340s until it fits in place. 3. Connect one end of the A/V cable to the A/V terminal of the cradle. 4. Connect the other end to the A/V input socket of the TV set. 5. Turn the TV and Vivicam 5340s on. 6. Playback the still images/video clips. The method of operation is the same as playing back still images and video clips on Vivicam 5340s. I hope this helps:)
