You can find the Hose/regulator Assembly at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Just take your old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!

Unable to get gas our of 'Blue Rhino" propane

The problem is an easy fix. Replace the current Hose/Regulator Assembly with a new one. They run about $30.00, at home centers and hardware stores that sell grills and accessories.

Once you install the new one and connect it to the gas tank, open the gas tank valve Very Very Slowly (Slow Motion, Slow) until it's fully open. If you don't do it this, the new regulator will lockup.

Hope this helps you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

I purchased a used Masterbuilt veranda gas grill. The gas regulator fits a small propane tank. Is it possible to replace the regulator so it will fit a large sized propane tank?

Yes, it can be converted to accept a 20 Lb LP grill tan. Contact Masterbuilt Customer Service

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!

Propane was leaking between tank and regulator on my BBQ. Replaced with three new regulators and two new propane tanks but still get strong hissing from vent hole and strong smell of propane when I open...

I would recommend you take the regulator, hose and 20# cylinder to your local propane co and have them check it out for you. Or if possible, just load the entire bbg in a truck and bring it all to them. Call first to schedule a time that can look at it. If you replaced the tank and the regulator, my guess is that you probably have a cracked fitting or the fitting is missing an integral part that seals it to the tank. Douglas

Weber grill three burner. New tank of propane but

The new style2_bing.gif OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
IF not you might want to remove the cap (white) on your regulator and try slowly adjusting the regulator, make small adjustments and try the BBQ My Weber if I set the front and back burners to MED I get right at 350 degrees in 60 degree outdoor temps. Adjusting the regulator will take some time to get it right but If it is not your tank it is most likely your regulator out of adjustment

I can't get the gas to flow on certain propane tanks and when I do it's not as hot as it should be. I have already replaced the regulator for th same problem. Multiple bad tanks??I have a Lynx L42PSFR-1

Nope
If you have old style tanks ( pre OPD valves) and an OPD style connection they sometimes have problems

If you have new style tanks the male fitting must extend far enough in to the tank fitting to press open the OPD valve Meaning the fitting needs to be tight.

I have had several tanks that would not work
Look inside the tank valve and you will see a small brass ring with 2 slots cut in it
These after repeated fillings will work loose
With a small screw driver you can gently tighten this ring
If it still does not work right take the tank to a good propane shop and they will have the proper tool to tighten this ring
The ring backing off will not allow the valve to completely open

I have an older Genesis grill with a leaking regulator

You can get a replacement regulator at just about any home improvement store (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) There haven't been changes in the size of the ports or thread patterns on regulators or propane tanks in the last 15 years.

Changing from natural gas to propane

Hi,
You will need to contact the manufacturer for replacement burner nozzles. As Propane is at a higher pressure, the nozzles need to be smaller in diameter.
You will also need a tank fitting for Propane with a regulator attatched - and a large spanner to attatch it.
Make sure any pipe connector to this is fitted with an approved hose crimp, as "jubilee" type clamps are not recommended.
If you just fit the regulator, the burners can flare dangerously on the high settings - unless it has been designed to be dual fuel originally, and have replacement nozzles.
