Goodman minisplit flashes on pre. Def. Wont start

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

Condensation on the outside back of the freezer side of my brand new Frigidaire side by side

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that you are seeing condensation on the rear of your Frigidaire refrigerator, FGHC2331PF. If the unit has been installed near any type of heat source you could see condensation build up. Now if the appliance is not located near a heat source, I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose and repair the refrigerator. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

F6 error code on Frigidaire split unit ac, model FSC12CM6J/FSE12CM6J. Solution says to check fuse? Where is this located?

It seems like the indoor fan is not running. Quite a few split systems have a fuse on the indoor board. It will require stripping off the outer cover of the indoor unit and removal of the electronic box cover. The indoor board is in there. The fuse may be replaceable or it may be a type that is soldered on which makes it virtually non replaceable. ( A new indoor board will be required) Make sure all power is turned off or disconnected before you do anything. Another possibility is the fan motor start capacitor has failed. Try this first before stripping the unit. When the unit is turned on and the outdoor unit has started, give the indoor fan barrel a flick with your finger to start it spinning, if it keeps spinning and the error doesn't appear, it would indicate that the fan motor start capacitor has failed. The capacitors on indoor units are normally small black square boxes with 2 terminals on it. These capacitors are mounted inside or close to where the indoor electronic box is. Again, make sure all power is disconnected or turned off at the meter box before you do any disassembly.

Fridge starts up when plugged in but only runs for 10 seconds then shows an E in the Freezer temp and and F in the Fridge temp. What is wrong?

Let it stand in the on position at least an hour to check it's not going through a self defrost cycle. If the temp display then doesn't change and the compressor doesn't run check you have power to the compressor and condenser fan

Compressor will not stay on no matter the temp. setting. After running a couple of minutes the unit emits a scraping or buzzing noise and compressor goes off.

Sounds like you lost one of your fans if air is circulating in the room its the condenser fan. Thats what blows across the condenser coil to the outside. It may just be a capacitor thats what helps the fan get started but usually if the fan is popping capacitors there is something wrong with the fan but at the same time capacitors do just go bad. hope this helps let me know.

check for dust on the condenser coil or if it has a condenser fan is prob not spinning try to free it up by turning it by hand now that's if it has a fan on the outside of the freezer
