This is a nice feature for those who like to carry their precious digital memories with them. In addition to offering photo viewing capabilities, color displays are brighter and easier to read than their monochrome counterparts. Also look out for players with crystal-clear OLED screens, which offer better viewing angles and lower power consumption (though they are harder to read in bright sunlight). Increasingly, MP3 players are even offering video playback. Although the screen on a typical MP3 player is too small for extended video viewing (for that, try a PVP instead), it can be a nice bonus for certain users, such as commuters. I just bought a GPX MP3 player (ML651B) I put music on it and was charging it. It now doesn't even want to turn on. I looked at the GPX website and I couldn't even find this one among their products. Now,...

The power button (more like a slide) on the bottom right side will turn it on once it's ejected from the computer. Hold the slide in, and let go after a second or two. Give it a few seconds (like 10) and it should power on. I got mine as a gift and am still working through the interface.

I can't figure out how to install my 16GB Ipod 4th Generation mp4

About your recent purchase of
16GB 4th Gen Slim MP3 MP4 Media Player with FM radio

You have been sold a fake sized player. it is hacked to show 16GB actual size may be around 1GB to 8GB. test your player with "H2TESTW 1.4" you will find it the first hit on www.google.com let other people know and open a dispute on paypal, you have been sold a fake item. Do not return the item for refund as sellers address is very likely wrong, useless to wait for a replacement player because they all are hacked. Get a partial refund. I paid 35usd, got 20usd refunded just now.

About your problem.
The player doesn't require anything works with vista and xp /etc just by plugging it into your computer and then turn it on, it will show up on your my computer as a removeable disk.

Zune Backlight

It happens to my Zune often. Don't Worry. Reset your zune. Now hold the back button while holding the upper part of your touch pad, when it starts to reboot immediately connect it to your computer. Continue to restart your zune again and again (i.e back and upper part of touch pad) and keep on unplugging and plugging it to your computer. It will work out. I'm SURE. This happened to me, I tried this method and it worked but after I restarted the zune 4 times!!!

My sansa E280 will not turn on

I have more advice on my Tips & Tricks for fixing Sansa players, but here is a likely candidate:
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website (make sure the Sansa is not plugged into the computer yet). Once the Recovery Tool is downloaded, connect the Sansa to the computer while holding in the REC button and continue to hold it even after th player is plugged in. It should go into Recovery Mode in 10-15 seconds or so.

Sansa plugged into Ipod music player - won't work now

Yep - it's a sad thing. iPod docks have ruined many a good mp3 player.
