All messages have been deleted but message button keeps binking?????//

Most of the time your home phone service has a digital voice mail like your cell phone does. If the answering machine is set for an amount of rings that is too long the digital voice mail service will answer before your machine. The new cordless phone indicators do show messages on your digital voice mail as well as the answering machine. Depending on your home service, most of the time when you press talk and you hear a different non standard dial tone(mine pulses 3 times before going to solid dial tone) you have a digital message. You need to delete this message before the indicator light will stop flashing. Then set up you digital voice mail for a longer pickup time! This should get rid of this problem.

I have a Uniden cordless answer machine,Can my meesages be retived?

You can operate your answering system from a remote location using any touch-tone telephone. Use this function to check for recorded messages, to play or delete messages, even to record a new greeting message.
  1. Call your telephone number.
  2. During the greeting message, press 0 and enter your PIN code. By default, the pin code is "80" without the quotes.
  3. The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored in memory. Then you hear "To play incoming messages, press zero two. For help, press one zero".
Available commands are:

  • 0 then 1 Repeat a Message
  • 0 then 2 Playing Incoming Messages
  • 0 then 3 Skipping a Message
  • 0 then 4 Deleting a Message
  • 0 then 5 Stop Operation
  • 0 then 6 Answering System On
  • 0 then 7 Memo Record/Stop*
  • 0 then 8 Greeting Message Record/Stop*

I have a Voca phone RT-250- It does not play back messages. The answering machine plays the recorded message - it records that three messages are there but then doesn't play back the recorded messages.

Need more info here, does the machine record a memo? Set the machine to answer mode and press the little memo button on the very rhs of the machine to start and stop recording.) This should leave a message like through the phone line. Will that play back? Lift the tape lid and see if the tape moves??? With a little more info I can help, I've been repairing those for many many years.
