Need owner or service or both manuals for Homelite model #UT10516

As far as the manuals... you might be able to download them at (you can click on the link) under customer service, you'll find "owner's manuals). To adjust the fuel/air mixture, start the saw and turn the adjustment screws in or out a little at a time until you get the saw running properly. There is no "set" adjustment... as the saw motor ages, those settings will change. If you make adjustments to the fuel/air screws and the saw stops running and starting, turn the adjustment screws all the way in (clockwise) GENTLY... If you force those screws you will damage the needle valve seats! Turn both screws out one and a quarter turns out, and the saw will start. continue adjusting until the saw runs properly. Have patience... it may take a while to get the saw running to your satisfaction.

Running poor

You may have to adjust the fuel/air mixture on the carburetor. There are two small screws right next to each other on the carburetor. you should be able to see them without removing any cowlings. use a jeweler's screwdriver to adjust one or the other (or possibly both).
The adjustments are fine...and remember which way and how much you turned which screw so you can return to the previous setting. If you adjust enough so that the saw quits running altogether, you can GENTLY bottom both screws, then turn each one out one and a quarter turns. The saw will start... then you can continue to find the adjustment that will make the saw run properly.

Need to know if the adjustment screws on a Homelite Bandit UT10901B carb are adjustable--it does not have the plastic limiter caps I am used to seeing--now I know why I like to work on Stihl or Husqvarna

The Homelite Walbro carburetors use 'D' headed screws for the jets. A 'D' head screwdriver is necessary, although a thin-wall piece of brass tubing (from a hobby shop) that force-fits over the heads will probably work. Hope this helps!

What is the gas oil mixture for homelite sx135 trimmer

Use 32:1 with good quality 2-cycle oil. I have Used Stihl, Homelite, Poulan and Several Other 2 Cycle Trimmers in the Yard Maintenance Service and Have Found the 32 to 1 Mixture to Extend the Life of the Engine. Always Remember to Drain the Tank and Run the Engine Until the Carbuetor is Empty for Off Season Storage.

Sluggish gas trimmer

Make sure you have a good gas to oil mixture, My 25cc 1999, is 50:1, Be sure you're not sucking air from faulty fuel lines or fuel line connections. Make sure the air filter is clean, and oiled if it requires oil. Turn your idle screw in till it stops, then start at 1 1/4 turns out, and then an 1/8 of a turn at a time if all else has been checked and is well... You will adjust the idle screw till you can Idle without giving it gas, (after the engine is warm)... If you have a high air/fuel mixture screw, screw it in until it stops.(Do not over tighten). Screw out 1 1/4 turns... Adjust these two screws 1/8 of a turn at a time until there is power all the way through the RPM range. Oh... And check your plug... if it is wet or black and sooty , then clean or replace it, it should be a golden brown with no soot.

Homelite d2850b chainsaw air-fuel adjustments. white adjustment on left red adjustment on right. how do i calibrate?. Alsoit just seems as though its getting too much gas. Tried to warm it up a bitt with a...

If the fuel tank was completely full, I would expect fuel leakage from the tank vent--don't make a practice of overfilling. Give it a little breathing room for expansion. Check the air cleaner and muffler for plugging. White and red adjustments mean nothing to a color blind person. There should be an 'H' and 'L' cast into the plastic surface or on the carburetor body itself near the adjustments. Turn both screws CW to stops (lightly) and then back out each 1-1/2 turns CCW. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on, and adjust H CW until the engine starts to speed up but still 4-stroking. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Release the throttle and adjust L CW until the engine runs fairly well, but allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Set the idle speed screw so that the chain stops turning, but the engine continues to run. Hope this helps!

check gas tank vent and cap. Adjust carb a small amount ie. back out screw marked L 1/4 turn. If that does not work adjust screw marked "H" 1/4 turn out if no results adjust back to original position and go 1/4 turn farther in.
