Question about HP Compaq nx6310 Notebook
I think I have the same problem. Having spoken to a few people, everything suggests that it could be a faulty jack plug or a soldered joit that has come adrift on the jack plug. It is quite a common fault apparently. Could be expensive unless you feel competent to dissassemble your machine and attempt the repair yourself.
