Question about HP Photosmart R727 Digital Camera
Tried to take pics but got msg that battery is not charge enough to take pics. I charged the battery overnight and nothing. I turn on the camera and the little blue light illuminates for 1 sec and goes out, still no charge. Do I need a new battery (camera only 1 year old) or do you think the charger is bad. I know the energy source is good. Please help.

Have you tried resetting your camera? To reset your camera, open the battery cover and you should see a small hole inbetween the SD card slot and the battery release switch. Then use a small narrow object (i.e. mechanical pencil with its lead extended) and press into the hole. You should feel it "click" and then hold it for about 3 seconds. Try restarting your camera.
Note: Please backup all the data on your SD card before doing this.
Hope this helps
