SOURCE: How to change blade on 10" Craftsman table saw?

you need to grab the blade with something.maybe some pliers(if you are not going to refurbish blade) and loosen the nut in the center of the blade. i think it is a left hand thread(cw to loosen) because of the rotation of the blade. if the nut is on the left when looking from the front it is probably left handed. make sure it's unplugged and wear leather gloves so you don't get cut. install in reverse...

SOURCE: on my hitachi table saw mod. c10fr sounds like the bearing is bad

Went to their site and they don't offer just the bearings for the motor but sell as an assembly. If this tool is fairly new I would return if not what you can do is remove the motor and pull the armature with the bearings out and then go to a repair center and match them up. These bearings are numbered with a universal code so it should not be that hard. Let me know if you still need help and if I have answered your question would you please rate my response accordingly.

SOURCE: How do I change the blade on my Ryobi 10" table saw?

The manual is posted on line. Changing the blade does not require turning the saw over, blocks of wood or vice grips. The advice listed above is potentially damaging to your equipment.

SOURCE: My husband lost the safety key for our Hitachi

The safety key comes with the rocker switch to turn the saw on/off. The rocker switch is part #726811 and sells for around $8-$10. You can check local tool parts suppliers or order online at sites like

Circuit breaker trips out

What is the rating of the breaker? Is this enough to run the saw? If this is ok, has the motor become damaged or has the blade got dirt or wood dust slowing it down?

How do you change out the blade?

Raise the blade as high as it can go and you will see nuts in the center of it, untighten them and the blade will come right off, replace and put back on the way it came off.

I own a Hitachi 10CFR Table Saw. My question is: Can I load a Dado Stack onto the Arbor of this table saw to create a 3/4 dado cut? I've read everything from "Yes" to "Absolutely Not"...

After doing some research, I found that hitachi only recommends up to a 1/2 dado for this machine with most of the users agreeing that it probably does not have the stability or power to run a 3/4 inch safely. Meaning you probably can run the 3/4 but at you own risk.

My husband lost the safety key for our Hitachi Table Saw Model Number C10FR. This saw is discontinued and the customer service department at Hitachi will not return phone calls or E mails. Can anyone...

I found Hitachi customer service to be quite helpful in replacing my safety switch for my C10RA2 table saw. My C10RA2 has a fixed metal stand, not the folding stand, and the part number for the red safety switch or key is 531-992R, while the switch itself is part number 314-459. If you have the folding stand the part number for the switch is 321-620 and the safety key is 321-621. Hitachi customer service in US: 1-800-706-7337. I am going to buy two or three! Almost lost a table saw over a cheap plastic part.

My hitachi c10fr table keeps blowing the built in breaker everytime i turn it on---any suggestions

Check the motor housing and make sure it is not clogged with sawdust, that could bind the armature and cause it to over heat
