I don't get cold water in the washer. I even changed my water inlet valve. I don't know what else I have to look for. Please post me the solution. The model is Kenmore 80 series-110 26852504

Kenmore 80 series washer model 110 doesn't fully drain when cycle complete

With the lid open, try to turn tub by hand. If you can you may have a bad clutch. If you hear the washer agitating at the begining of the cycle without any water and filling at the end of the cycle, replace the ATC switch. Try spin cycle and open the lid, if you don't see the tub turning, but hear the motor, check motor coupler, or if it never spins after you close lid, check lid switch. These are the most common solutions to this complaint.

Hello,

The usual problem when that type washer does not drain/spin is a broken lid switch. The lid switch is mid center side of the rim of the lid opening when looking at the washer from the front.ina lot of case by looking in that area ya can see where its broken and hanging down,if ya can not see it phyisically broken ya can open the lid and close it slowly and listen for a click when the lid is mostly closed,do this a couple times,if ya do no thear a click when lid is almost closed the switch will be tha problem

This youtube video will show ya how to replace the lid switch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFsvLiuTniU

The part number for that lid switch is 3949247 it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at;

Kenmore 80 series washing machine will fill up with water, then nothing happens

Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care Heavy Duty 80 Series washing machine (Model # 110.92389200; Serial # CF 1122814) went through the wash cycle completely, but rinse not the rinse cycle. Motor was going but washer not spinning. Also smelled something like burnt rubber. Could the belt have gone out? Is this something that I can fix myself?

Kenmore heavy duty series 80 model 110.25842400 will not spin.

if it will not drain or spin it is a bad lid switch,if it drains but will not spin it is the motor coupler,tip it back and look between the motor and trans that is where the coupler is located-mike

Won't spin, makes clunking noise, drains fine

If it agitates fine , with normal noise , drains with lid closed , then the problem is probably the transmission .

Kenmore washing machine 80 Series 110 20802 990 Will not agitate or spin"

You need to replace the Kenmore Washer Lid Switch. I had the same problem so being lazy I would just push down on the washer's lid and it would push the lid switch further down. making the water drain. after a while I just replaced the lid switch.

Kenmore washer 90 series wont spin

If your trans and coupler are good then I would suspect the drive block or spin tube. You will have to remove the trans to change out the spin tube. Take out the basket, there should be 2 ears from the spin tube that nest in the drive block. Attached is a photo to help you understand. Before all this make sure nothing is caught between the basket and the tub. Catriverd8086fb.jpg
