I have an LG American fridge freezer GRB207TUJA which the edge where the doors close on is very very hot

This is normal unless the refrigerator is not cooling properly. There is a pipe that goes around the door that carries hot Freon to keep the doors from sweating where the cold inside meets the warm air outside. This area will become extremely hot should the airflow below the refrigerator become obstructed or the condenser fan below the refrigerator not be working properly

Why does the front frame get real hot aroune top and bottom doors?

In some units the condenser coils run inside the outer walls of the fridge and this area can get warm. If its really hot check the visible coils at the rear and underneath the unit they may be badly clogged with dust, which cause the rest of the system to run much hotter since the airflow to the lower ones is blocked off. Make sure you clean all visible coils at least every 6 months. This will also cut down on the energy use.

Why are my cloths warm but slightly damp at the completion of all cycles selected.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer is leaving your clothes warm but slightly damp. I will be more than happy to assist you. So I am able to better assist, I kindly ask that you provide me with the model number of your dryer. Typically, this number is located on the back of the door, or possibly around the edges where the door meets your appliance. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Can any1 tell me why the divider between freezer n fridge is getting hot at front on my Samsung rs21dcns, and is it an easy fix? Thanks very much

The warm feeling around the doors is normal... they have either a very small heat element inside there, or the discharge line is routed through there, which is to preventcondensation from forming around the edges of the door. If it has an "energy saver" switch inside near the thermostat, turning this switch to the energy saver position turns off the heaters around the door edges, but may cause condensation to form if the humidity level inside the house is high.

Changing door skin for front passenger side door for Honda Pilot 2006

The skin is only spot welded in a few spots other then that is just a sealer all around the skin holding it and protecting it at the seam.
Remove the door and inner panel.
Drilled out the few spot welds.
Wire wheeled the exposed sealer around skin on the inside door jamb.
Use scraper to slowly work the folded edge up 90 degrees.(anything slim and small would work)
(With the old one you could just grind the edge off.)
Carefully pulled skin off.
Few minutes of dolly and hammering around the now new door skin lip to create a perfect 90 degree shape all around with the edge just peeled up.
Apply sealant to new door shell edge.
Slide skin on and in exact location needed.
Clamp skin all the way around.
Remove a few clams on one side, start hammer and dolling extra lip back around the shell lip, when done put clamps back on, and keep going down the line in this order.
Let clams sit as long as the sealer you have used suggests.
Reinstall door. Read more at http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2474146&ktrack=kcplink

42'' monogram getting very hot between doors and in unit above

This is typical for frost-free refridgerators/freezers. In order to keep ice from buiding up on the interior walls of the freezer section, the manufacturer installs electric defrosting elements and extra "warming" elements in the outer edges of the cabinet, normally around the door openings to help mitigate any frost/ice build up and surface condensation that typically occurs on the exterior surfaces as the doors are opened and closed frequently.

These edge warmers stay very warm to keep ice and condensation from accumulating and will become VERY very warm (hot) when the fridge/freezer is in the once a day defrost cycle.

Unless you have an energy saver switch (GE trademark) inside the fridge section, which you can turn off, there is no way to disable these added elements. If you find that you're getting ice building up in the freezer, you'll need to turn off the energy saver switch to resolve that issue.

Energy Saver switch "ON" means these elements are off, while having the ES switch "OFF" means those heaters are running all the time and costing you more in energy consumption

2002 dodge grand caravan sport side window fell off the track

Front door, or sliding? There are several screws around the outer edge of the sliding door panel, then pry or pull the panel off, there are push type fasteners. Do this in a warm area, plastic may break when cold. The front door is a little more dificult, but doable if you have to. Let me know if this helps.

Frigidaire frostlfree upright freezer ice forming top interior door

Not sealing. warm air hitting cold air causing frost. also, door frame heater may not be working. most frames are "warm" to the touch. normally called an "anti sweat" heater.
