Question about NetGear WNDR3400 N600 Wireless Dual Band Router (WNDR3400100NAS)
Try a reboot of router.
Unplug all cables except power.
Hold reset switch in for 30 seconds
From what you describe router may be heating up causing it to loose connection.Try relocating it away from any heat or standing it up for airflow across it.
You can also try having comcast relese and renew your ip address.
