Hello, My Compaq Presario 750US will

Hello, My Compaq Presario 750US will not start. The blue led lights up and then goes out immediately. I have charged the battery up and tried removing all of the possible removeable components (i.e., removed dvd drive, hard drive and one of the two sticks of RAM). After all of these components removed, tried to start up and it still does the same (i.e., symptoms were blue led lights briefly and then goes out).

Hi,

The motherboard of your laptop might have encountered a short circuit. If you've already removed and reseated all possible removable parts and still get the same result, purchase a replacement motherboard or check if it is still under warranty.

Good luck.

Compaq presario cq50-100em wont start up

I'm sorry to say this sounds like a system board failure. On my HP DV200t, a very similiar issue occured, eventually only the led where you plug in the power cord would turn blue. I replaced the system board and all the issues went away.
Hope this helps, and I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
