Bad news if your camera isn't wheatercamera, the problem you are experiencing at the moment, is a typical result of a CCD which have blown. A CCD problem would explain the lines on your pictures and the lines on the LCD (since the CCD is used to feed the live image) or simply not image condition.

In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. This is not something you may do on your own, and keep in mind that sometimes the expensive replacement part could better pay for a new camera. Think it!

Hope this helps.

Ok so my sony digital camera was drowned on water. Like every part of it. The inside of it was with water, the memory card, battery, and now it wouldnt work!! PLEASE HELP ME! There are sound but its r

Immediately turn off the camera, remove the battery and SD memory card. When you have driedthe camera by putting in a warm sunny place for several days or in front ofa warm fan heater for several hours then reassemble the camera. Hopefully itwill work properly but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new digital camera. The cost of repairs may not be worth it, I suggest you put your money towards a new camera.

What can I do if camera got wet?

DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON! You will probably fry the circuits. Remove the battery and memory card and dry those areas as well as you can. Bury the camera in a bowl of dry rice for a week before trying to turn it on. Then, keep your fingers crossed. Depending on how wet it got and what kind of water or liquid it was exposed to, you could still have problems with haze between the lens elements, an LCD screen that won't operate properly, etc.

DSLR do not power on

It's almost impossible to accurately troubleshoot a "dead" camera without seeing it, but your problem could be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may need to be replaced or the camera may require professional repair.

LG VU GOT WeT!!!!!!

Ok. Heres what happened to me:

I forget my LG Vu (CU920) was in my pocket and I jumped in the pool. I was in the pool for about 10 minutes before I realized. It was full of water. I took the battery out as soon as I realized it. HERES HOW I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!

Step 1- I took it home, removed the screws on the back panel, and removed it. Now the entire back casing was off.

Step 2- I put the phone and battery (separate) in a bowl of uncooked rice. Sounds crazy but this absorbs all of the water. I left it in there for 2 days.

Step 3- After 2 days, I put the battery back in and everything turned on. Only problem was there was a big bubble in my LCD screen. I then took the phone apart further by popping of the front casing of the phone. I then try to get underneath the LCD to air it out, but I accidentally broke the LCD screen (inside the phone...not plastic outer screen).

Step 4- I went online and purchased a new LCD screen for around $40 from a cel phone parts website. I got it and installed it which was not too hard. You just have to remove all the visible screws (i believe there are 6) from the back side. Then pop off the front cover and the rest is pretty obvious.

Step 5- Put it all back together and it all worked again!

Step 6- My battery soon died after of all this...Im guessing from the water damage. I bought a new one online for around 20 bucks. Now the phone is good as new.

All in all spent 60 bucks and revived the Vu from water damage!!!!!!!!!

C765 takes a swim

Try to sell it as a sparepart. Some components may have survived. I think of the Display or the keyboard on the back cover.
