Greetings ps81 - Your projector as you suspect does not have an HDMI input.

Unfortunately the Boxee only has an HDMI connector for video. You will have to get an HDMI to Component video adapter like this one HERE. (I'm not suggesting this particular one, just showing you what you need to get).

Once you get the adapter you will also plug an optical audio cable from the Boxee to your Epson (to get 5.1 surround sound) and you'll be up and running.

Enjoy all your new media!

Chromecast conversion

http://ww.jailbreakmodo.com/how-to-stream-any-video-format-from-chromecast-to-tv.html

If your TV has an HDMI input, you just plug the chromecast cable into it. If the TV does not an HDMI input, there are several types of adapters that convert the HDMI to whatever the TV input is. I could not locate your TV on the web to see what inputs the TV has, but if you do a search on the web for " HDMI adapters" , you'll find several types. You just need to match the adapter to whatever input type is on the TV. Possibly a place like Best Buy may have the adapter you need. I hope this helps.....

Hi I just bought a pioneer vsx-42 cable box and was wondering how to hook my Xbox 360 up through there so I can play on the tv, I have an hdmi cord And will be playing on a Samsung smart tv

Hook your X Box into the Receiver HDMI input with your HDMI cable and another HDMI cable from the HDMI out on the receiver to the HDMI input on your TV.

I have a boxee box for streaming netfix videos & want to hook it up to a epson movie mate will it work?

Yes, the Epson has the necessary HDMI input. But you will need to configure the cables accordingly: the audio output from the Boxee (preferably the optical one, but the 2 analogue RCA ones will also work) will have to be routed to a home theater to get the sound.
