The fuse in soldered in the power/inverter board.
Service manuals: http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=samsung&megnev2=743&kategoria=monitor&kat2=all

If you are going to DIY and already try the monitor with another PC, and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/

On my ipod it doesnt show anything on the screen how can i fix it?

Is it charged ? A completely dead battery on an IPOD usually will not charge over just USB - it would require a apple power adapter. If you don't have a power issue then you'd have to send it out for repair - there's lots of web sites for this. Don't try to open it yourself (I almost took a finger off doing this - the case is VERY tight).

How to troubleshoot a Samsung SyncMaster 743NX LCD Monitor? My Samsung SyncMaster 743NX monitor turns on slowly. I mean, last week when I started up my pc,it took 5-10 mins before my monitor displayed anything. I know the pc is already turned on because I've already heard the Windows Vista start up tune play. The problem is now getting worse as it now takes 20-30 mins before my monitor displays anything. Please help.
