Yes, the Epson has the necessary HDMI input. But you will need to configure the cables accordingly: the audio output from the Boxee (preferably the optical one, but the 2 analogue RCA ones will also work) will have to be routed to a home theater to get the sound.

Stream AVCHD videos to Xbox 360 via DLNA-AVCHD to Xbox Converter

Xbox DLNA-AVCHD MTS/M2TS to Xbox 360 support formats on Windows 7

Generally, I have my video to be kept in a D-Link NAS box, so that I can watch them on Xbox. The NAS is quite old, and I will buy a home server similar to the HP models one day. Xbox has a "Windows Media Center" window in the dashboard view, and Xbox Streams videos from NAS via DLNA for HDTV.

However, the AVCHD files from my Sony DSC-TX100V could not read by Xbox. While looking for the solution to stream AVCHD videos to Xbox, I find Aunsoft Final Mate as the recommended AVCHD video converter and joiner with best quality. After dealing the AVCHD files with Final Mate on Windows 7 Premium, I can share the videos using Windows Media Center software for streaming.

Below is just a simple guide with AVCHD to Xbox supported format.

Step 1. Import AVCHD videos to Final Mate.
Run Final Mate as the best AVCHD to Xbox converter, and click the Add file path button on Resource tab to browse the folder with .mts or .m2ts files on PC hard drive. For videos from camera, just connect camera to PC via USB cable, and follow the pop-up wizard to import videos.

Step 2. Select and join AVCHD files for output.
Select the clips on Resource tab or Camcorder tab, drag and drop to the Movies tab. You can create a movie for each file or a movie with several files with conversion. For another movie, just click the Create New Movie button.

Step 3. Choose Xbox format.
Click the icon next to the Movie name in the Movies tab, you will see the format options. Move to the Device group, find Zune/Xbox 360 Device and choose Zune Xbox 360 - Windows Media Video(*.wmv) as output format.

Click Export button, and the conversion from AVCHD to Xbox 360 support format will start right away. Wait for a while, and put the videos to the video folder for sharing. Xbox 360 then can stream videos from the NAS via DLNA.

DLNA for HD Videos Streaming:Camcorder Videos to Droid X with Compatible Format
Droid X DLNA-Stream Camcorder HD Videos from Windows 7 PC to Droid X,WD TV Live Hub via DLNA

I have recently setup DLNA between my Windows 7 PC and Droid X, and my other home devices like WD TV Live Hub. With HDMI cable connected between WD TV Live Hub to my HDTV, I can stream most of my videos from Windows 7 PC and watch on HDTV. But Droid X does not read the .mts files that I transferred to PC from my Sony Handycam CX700.

Actually, there are DLNA-certified cameras, which might be easily connected to Droid X via WiFi. The mts videos play well via DLNA streaming from PC to WD TV Live Hub with HDTV. I was recommended to convert the camcorder videos in .mts to .mp4 for streaming to Droid X with Aunsoft Final Mate.

Aunsoft Final Mate works great for the CX700 videos. I just need to import videos to Final Mate, create a movie for conversion from the File menu (File > Create A Movie For Conversion), bring the clips to Movies tab. Click the Export button under the volume settings, and choose Droid X output profile to start conversion. Windows 7 PC is DLNA-compliant, and I just need to activate two services: SSDP Discovery and Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service.

2. Make sure the devices are in the same network, and put the video files to the video folder on Windows 7 for sharing.

3. WD TV Live Hub and Motorola Droid X are also DLNA-compliant. There is built-in DLNA application on Droid X, and is available in the Application tray. Just run DLNA to control or play videos on Droid X.

Below is the DLNA application on Droid X:

Turn on WiFi, and you will face the following screen for playing media, copying media to server, copying media to phone, or share media.

To stream and play the MP4 files converted from AVCHD files by Final Mate, just choose Play media, and Droid X will ask you to choose source, choose player, and start streaming.

With Final Mate, you can easily stream Camcorder Videos to Droid X with DLNA Compatible Format. Why does my Boxee browser crash on some sites?

Hi Kelly!

The Boxee browser does have issues with some sites, specifically ones that use Flash (and especially the newest versions).

There's no real way to fix this on your own, but you'd be a huge and awesome help to the team if you reported it on this site.

Why does my Boxee consistently freeze?

Hi Cory, this definitely sounds related to the firmware updates that Boxee pushes out every so often. You'll be fine in no time.

First go and grab a computer and download the most recent firmware update from Boxee's website. Now go and copy the file on a USB flash drive and power down your Boxee box while keeping it plugged in. Following that procedure, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the device turns on. You will then choose to enter Recovery Mode and select "Update From USB" in order to download the most recent version of the firmware.

Still no luck? Leave your device turned on, enter the "Settings" menu, select "System", and go to "Advanced". Now you can clear away the Media Info Database and resolve any issues you may be encountering with scanning problems.

If it's not yet working it's time to enter "Recovery Mode" and do a hard factory reset. To do this, you will select "Reset All Settings" and then select "Factory Reset". This will wipe your Boxee of all its data, forcing you to update the firmware via the USB flash drive procedure we mentioned above.

My firmware update on my Boxee messed up the device

The good news? This is the worst problem the Boxee has and won't cost you much of anything in terms of time.

The bad news? No bad news! The Boxee rules!

Your first step is to download the most recent firmware update from the official Boxee website to your computer, saving it on your hard drive. Following that, insert a USB flash drive, copy the file, and power down your Boxee box while keeping it plugged in. Following that procedure, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the device turns on. You will then choose to enter Recovery Mode and select "Update From USB" in order to download the most recent version of the firmware.
If that does not work, leave your device turned on, enter the "Settings" menu, select "System", and go to "Advanced". From there you will be able to clear the Media Info Database and resolve any issues you may be encountering with scanning problems.
The final (and least desirable) fix is to enter back into "Recovery Mode" and perform a hard factory reset. To do this, you will select "Reset All Settings" and then select "Factory Reset". This will wipe your Boxee of all its data, forcing you to update the firmware via the USB flash drive procedure we mentioned above.

Hi: Hi i have the epson mate 30's which i bought

Greetings ps81 - Your projector as you suspect does not have an HDMI input.

Unfortunately the Boxee only has an HDMI connector for video. You will have to get an HDMI to Component video adapter like this one HERE. (I'm not suggesting this particular one, just showing you what you need to get).

Once you get the adapter you will also plug an optical audio cable from the Boxee to your Epson (to get 5.1 surround sound) and you'll be up and running.

Enjoy all your new media!

Hello:
Unfortunately the LG 22LD350 only has the capability to read music (MP3) and photos (JPG). To play movie files, you will have to use another device.
