Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
This is what you should do:
For your version of Windows, enter into Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and stop wgtray.exe. After this, delete wgtray.exe from C:WindowsSystem32 and C:WindowsSystem32dllcache. When you finished doing so, press Start -> Run -> type regedit and click OK. Navigate in this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoft... NTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotify and delete folder WgaLogon. Close now the registry editor. Restart your pc and if it prompts to reinstall those services go to Start -> Run -> Msconfig -> Ok -> Click Services tab and you should uncheck from there. Apply and restart your PC.
I hope it helps! Have a nice day!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
