SOURCE: bissell proheat 7901-1 steamer won't **** up the water

Sounds like either the pump is not working or the collection unit has an air leak.

SOURCE: My Bissell ProHeat 2x is pouring water out of the

Took the unit apart and discovered my heater had small pinholes in the metal and they had put in silicone, instead of a gasket, which didn't seal. So much for the place I took it to "saving" my heater for me. I repaired it myself by getting a few o-rings and a seal from the hardware store. As for the "holes" in the bottom - a little marine fixative.

SOURCE: bissle vacume can not fit belt around motor

It sounds like you got a belt that was too small, if it is the right belt it will be hard to get on. But once its on you will be all set.

I can only use the ulpusltry attachment the floor cleaner does not shoot out any soap can the lines be clogged and how to unclog them?

I have a Proheat 2X and had the same problem. I don't know if this will work with your unit... but I tried the Water Rinse setting and found water came out and was suctioned properly, but on the Light Clean, Normal Clean, and Heavy Traffic settings, the unit failed to do anything. Problem may be with leaving the soap dispenser in-place, which might scum up the tubing. With the dial set to "Tools", I had the same problem.

SO, an alternative to throwing out my unit and buying something else was to put one capful of the Bissell soap in the water resevoir and keep the unit on Water Rinse. IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY NOW on carpet & tool settings. Don't know if this will help you, but at least I didn't have to buy a new unit. Rinse everything after using and there's been no problem.

Soap from dispenser will not release into carpet cleaner.

These are two different problems the first could be a clogged heater soap coagulates in the heater passages and clogs the flow of water to see if this is indeed the problem turn the unit on and try and spray water with the top trigger (floor nozzle) then try to spray at the hand nozzle if you get water at the hand nozzle but not the floor nozzle it is the heater. The hand nozzle water bypasses the heater. Also check the solution or soap tank if you pull it out and there is not red seal on the bottom it may be stuck in the machine and won't create a good seal check to see if it is still in the hole where the tank inserts. As for the unit not turning on that could be a number of issues cord, switch or just over heated. Visit www.stevessewandvac.com for any parts or questions about this machine or any other.
