Question about Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Wireless Keypad Model 976LM Security+

1 Answer

I can't successfully install my new logic board. I'm replacing board 41a5021-3c with 41a5021-2g. I was told i need to do this so I can operate 2 vs 1 remotes. I'm hooking up wiring the same way the older board was wired, with the possible exception of the YELLOW wire (what terminal does that go on?). In short, the unit does not power on. suggestions?

Something is strange here. With the original logic board you should not have a yellow wire and there is no reason why you couldn't use 2 remotes. It would help if you would post the model number of your opener plus the model numbers of the remotes you want to use. It is very important that the remotes are the correct models for your opener. You seem to be getting false information but there may be something I don't know yet.

The info you asked for is Craftsman door opener # is 139.53674SRT2, and the remote # is 139.53681B.

Your opener will easily work with 5 remotes so adding a 2nd should be no problem at all. Just make sure the remote you are adding is the same model as the original. To program it to your opener just follow this procedure.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of your opener near where all those white wires go. Hold down the button on your remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button.

Post back if you have any problems.

One thing I forgot to mention. Reinstall the original logic board first. That second board you have may have a problem because it should work with your opener.

Did you activate the new phone? Airtime won't add until you follow activation procedure. Also check signal strength bars...no signal and it will not update. If all else fails contact tracfone either via phone or chat.

I replaced logic board unlocked but their is password.how can disable .

So you bought a logic board and when you installed it, it already had a password set on it? That means the logic board was not new. Take it back to the Apple iStore.

You can clear it by connecting it to iTunes on a computer and do a factory reset.

Recently my printer stopped working. It does not turn more I took the service technician and he told me that maybe I needed to replace the logic board. Where can I Buy the logic board printer brand Canon...

My advise -- replace it.

The problem is that by the time you add up the price of a new motherboard and the technican's labor
costs, it will exceed the replacement cost of a new printer. That is the sad truth about most inkjet printers.
They are generally cheap for a very good reason.

As to the motherboard replacement, you would have to contact Canon technical support for pricing. I
doubt that there is a generic replacement board.

If someone has looked at this issue and determined it to be a logic board problem then the only solution is to replace the entire logic board.

You can purchase them on usedmac.com here for $289:

Either you got a bad board or you didn't connect the sensors correctly. The 2 solid white wires go to terminal #2 and the 2 white wires with black traces go to terminal #3.

Logic board failure

You can do the repair yourself, you need about 3 hours to take apart and re-install. Keep a note of every screw, there are alot of them.

The board may be stuck on by some di-electric grease so pry it off carefully making certain all screws are off, check behind wires etc...
