We have a split type gree aircon, with one (1) horsepower. it was just newly installed, around 6 months ago. we are just surprised that one when my wife turned it on, thru the use of its remote control, the indicator box on the aircon reads or flashes "F2". I detached the batteries of the remote control for severa hours and I also detached the power cord from the wall socket, but it was to no avail. it did not work. with "F2" on the indicator box, the aircon won't give cool air, it is just working like an ordinary fan. please help us.

You wont believe how streight forward wiring these split aircons are, but when rushing, small wiring mistakes do happen. Most of the time the control wiring comes with the aircon and is pre connected into the inside unit allready.. Suggest you switch off at isolator and or pull plug out of the socket then open the inspection/ wiring compartment on the side of the outside aircon.(condenser unit). you will see possibly 2 sets of wires and if larger than an 18000btu unit, there should be a thin set of black plug in wires for the auto defrost sensor. On the wires going into the connector terminals there should be numberscorrelating their connection points. eg. L (LIVE) will go to l on the termonal block. 1 will go to 1 on the block and so forth. Check that those wires are correctly placed or the incorrect output from the control board will go to the incorrect component in the condenser unit. If all is good, then very possibly the 2 way valve is stuck, then you will need professional help. Just out of interest, it should be in warrenty so checking the wiring will be all you could do.e

Fujitsu ASTA12LCC WILL NOT HEAT OR COOL. GREEN TIMER LIGHT FLASHES TWICE AT INTERVALS. FAN WORKING. IS IT REPAIRABLE?

Serial signal reverse error. Basically the outdoor unit is not talking to the indoor unit. This is normally due to damage to the outdoor controller PCB and it needs to be replaced.

If it happens in heat it must happen in cooling. The indoor unit has nothing to do with if it's heating or cooling. You likely have 2 moving parts in the machine, the blower wheel and the swing fins. Turn swing option off, eliminate that. You get the rest...

Friedrich SS12F10 chassis fan is running compressor not cooling is it worth repairing - how much

Hello, if this is a window ac and is not cooling I would make sure the unit is receiving proper airflow across the evaporator coil, chek filter and clean if dirty, clean evaporator coil with coil cleaner which you can purchase at any heating and cooling store. If the unit still does not cool than ypu most likely have a leak in the system and is undercharged. In this case the repair would be between 80- 120 dollars. In some cases if the unit is less than the repair you are better off buying a new unit. However, if your unit is more than the repair then you are better off getting it repiared.

Have a lg lfx25960st has frost on back wall of freezer fan was making grinding noise now no noise and wont freeze ice thanks d hopper

Older freezers have a mechanical timer that shuts the cooling unit off and activates a heating element to melt the ice that forms on the cooling coils next to the fan. Newer ones control it with a circuit board. It sounds like yours is not defrosting and the ice buildup has stopped the fan. Or the fan could be bad and without the airflow thru the cooling coils they are covered with ice.
You need to remove a cover inside the unit to get to the fan, cooling coils, and defroster heating element. There could also be a thermostat attached to the heating element that will need to be checked.
Unplug the unit, disconnect the heating element and check for continuity ( with an ohms tester ) , it should give some reading on the tester. You will need to talk to a repair shop to get the exact ohms it should read. If you have a friendly repair person, they will tell you how to check everything out.

Hi,
Pls check the following....
1) Fix the wire connector to Reversing vale
2) Check the Capacitor if this a low capacitance or (open) not function using Multi-tester.
3) Check the Selector switch if this is not function using Multi-tester . or check the PCB Board (if electronic your units) replaced the Board.

If not yet,go to the nearest repairman to repair that units.
