If this a genuine antivirus programme, then when you start the notebook, keep pressing F8, this will load up windows in safe mode and not allow any viruses or trojans to run.

When the options appear on screen, choose start windows with VGA mode by highlighting it then press enter, you may be asked the operating system, just choose it as it's shown.

A load of driver files then run on the screen, then it tells you that your in safe mode and to continue.

You will then see your account and an administrators account, click this then your desktop will load, although the icons will be larger, then run you anti virus programme.

If this is a free antivirus programme off the net then you may well have actually installed a virus by doing so, i would only recommend using AVG Free version 8, as this is genuine.

you can get it here if required

Hello,
b>I think it could be due to virus activity. Some virusmake the contents of the drive hidden, that's why user can't see the files and the space available for use is less than thecapacity and also can not open the drive. It issuggested that go to FOLDER OPTIONS - and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES. It may showthe hidden files. If can not show ,hidden file (tools >folder option>view> check on show hidden file>check off hide protected and checkoff hide extension) now can see all hidden file in c drive. If not think...... For ensure again run>type> msconfig > hit can not open ms config if virus effected run >type> regedit>hit>can not open registry if virus effected run >type >gpedit.msc>hit can not open group edit policy if virus effected Otherwise, ifyou don't have any vital data on the drive, just format it in another pc.Pleasenote, before insert the Pen drive .Go to run command from start menu OR Press Win key+R and type gpedit.msc and hit>Usser configuration >system>turn off auto play >enable>use down arrow key select all drive >apply >ok. Control panel>administrative tools > service>select any word in right side and presss for select Shell Hardware Detection> d -click >use down arrow key>disable >start. And now can insert pen drive and format. Hope this wouldfix the issue and . Youshould fully scan by f-secure bootable cd or any another antivirus bootable cd.Just insert the disk and restart. Follow bellow the download link. http://www.askvg.com/download-free-bootable-rescue-cds-from-kaspersky-bitdefender-avira-f-secure-and-others/ you wouldbe able to enjoy the full capacity of the disk. Try to be sure follow these youshould delete partition and create new partition and format your all drive. Now install fresh O.S.Hope it will help you.

Click on the emergency copy of sav32cli marked in red as shown in the above image.

Save in a new folder and name the folder as sav32.

You have a zip file with the name sav32cli in a sav32 folder. Extract all files in that particular folder.

Now on the same page click the relevant ides marked in red as shown in the figure below. 3547d01.jpg

Download the latest ides in sav32 folder and extract in that folder.

Burn the entire folder on a disk.

In the infected computer boot your system in safe mode with command prompt and insert the disk.

Lets consider G drive as your dvd drive

In the command prompt
c:\g:
g:\cd sav32<enter>
g:\sav32\<capslockon>SAV32CLI<SPACE>-REMOVE<SPACE> -P=C:\LOGFILE.TXT<ENTER>

This command starts examinig each and every file in the system and removes all virus. As this antivirus detects a virus or malware press A key.

Sit back and enjoy.

Case - 2 In case your system hangs at startup and cannot enter safe mode. Boot your system with a dos bootable pen drive or floppy and perform the same steps.

HOW TO REMOVE RAILA ODINGA VIRUS IN 2 MINUTES
How to remove raila odinga virus is a very easy process. Firstly, Raila odinga is a worm that attacks Microsoft word files, but it looks like a JPG file and mostly found on the desktop.
Raila odinga has some common characteristics
1. If you delete the picture file it will delete and return to where it was.
2. It runs from the driver folder in system 32 folder
3. it auto runs at system startup
4. It makes the computer boot slowly
5. It makes your computer to hang.
6. It creates new folder.exe folders in your computer
How to remove raila odinga virus, open my computer, double click drive C: open WINDOWS folder, double click on system 32 folder, open driver folder,
locate the word file in the folder, note the name. Right click on the task bar, open task manager, click on the process tab locate the name of the word file you saw in the drive folder, right click on the name of the file, click end process, to terminate the running process
Open the driver folder of system 32 where the file is, delete all the ms word files on that folder, then close the folder locate the raila odinga picture file usually on the desktop or somewhere in your computer, delete the picture file. Please do not double click on the picture file only delete it, finally empty your recycle bin and restart your computer. That way odinga is off your machine.

New acer 5535 as two trojans do9rf d bancos iyg and i cant remove

Use Malware bytes, run a quick scan and once its finished open up the report file to delete the found files.

Reboot your computer after to remove any files that couldnt be cleaned first time round.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

AVG missed quite a few trojan files and strangly enough so do the bigger names like McAffee and Norton.

I agree. Re imaging or reinstalling the windows operating system seems like the only fix at this point since it seems like the anti virus isn't picking up the virus. Back up the files on an external hard drive and just reinstall windows.

I have a problem upgrading

Open and back all important if you could still open you hard disk drive in another media like flash disks or cards then reformat and reinstall your new OS. do not ctrl A and copy all files when your return them back rememember to scan them using powerful antivirus software before you return data to your newly reformatted HDD or else you may be copying the virus back. Have it cleaned by PC with updated Antivirus programs.
