Our problem is that the red light flashes 10 times and then it turns off we can hear sound but cannot see a picture we have turned it on with a friend on an outside antenna and it works but through...

If you were able to get it to work with one signal source but not another, the poblem may be with the foxtel cable rather than the tv. Was there a difference between the connection from the aerial antennae and the cable? Have you checked to make sure another tv works on the cable from that location?

Our Sony fd trinitron kv34xbr910 led light blinks 6 times and will not turn on.

hellos - No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.

Sony Trinitron KV-28LS36U no sound or picture, the standby light flashing green and red but if i switch it on a little bit of sound comes and then switches off. how can i repair?

The unit is shutting itself down because a problem was detected internally. When this happens, the standby light should blink a repeated pattern. Please count the number of blinks and post the number here. That will indicate the circuit in which the problem occurred.

Thanks,
Dan

At the bottom end of the remote(the end that faces you as you use the remote) on the back there is a slide off panel, just press lightly by the arrow and slide it backwards to reveal the batteries.

THE TUBE COULD BE GETTING WEAK . IF YOU GIVE
ME THE BLINKING I COULD TELL YOU BETTER, IT ALSO COULD BE A SIGN POWER SUPPLY IS GOING .BOTH PROBLEMS CAN BE FIXED I WOULD WAIT FOR TV TO GO OUT BEFORE FIXING INTERMITTING PROBLEMS ARE HARD TO FIX ESTIMATE ON REPAIR IS AROUND 160,00 DOLLARS
